In a moment of searching for a way back into dance, I was asked to come to Jacob’s Pillow and attend to a space built for new movement and technology performances. My time at the Pillow has been a portal back to why I love being in this practice and I’m super grateful to everyone in Production, Programming, the wide range of visiting artists, and especially the installation team who took the time to dance and debug these works in a live experiment.

First two slides are my movement in Pathways, a parametric system by Daniel Sierra, Cameron Surh, Zelia ZZ Tan, and David Wexler that remixes motion capture data in novel ways.

Dancing the Algorithm is the inaugural exhibit in the rebuilt Doris Duke Theatre curated by Katherine Helen Fisher. It is on view at @jacobspillow until August 24th. Send me a flick if you get to see it😄

got together with @post_no_chills to design, program, assemble, and perform 6 hours of improvisatory visuals. been wanting to do this something like this foreverr. love to all the movers that came out to dance on a rainy night🪐🌟 by @abodycam

what an honor to dance with the talented folks @newmuseum who taught me what a generative choreographic residency can look like 🤩
