The Tegeler 40 Channel Tube Summing Mixer is exactly the kind of gear I love because it is not just some random fancy analog box.

40 channels, 32 balanced inputs via D Sub in Tascam layout and 8 balanced TRS inputs. Real tube summing. Transformer output stage, Illuminated VU meters and Stepped output control in minus 3 dB steps so recall is way easier and way less annoying.

The specs are also actually solid. 20 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response, up to plus 22 dBu input level and up to plus 24 dBu output. At least 110 dB dynamic range. 2U format so it is not just vibe. It is proper studio gear with real headroom and an actually smart design.

What I like about it is that it does not overdo anything. It just gives the mix more depth. more glue. more width. and that slightly more alive feeling that is hard to explain but instantly noticeable.

Not fake analog hype. Just tubes, transformers, headroom and good summing.
