HAPPY RELEASE DAY TO MAKE ME LAUGH 💚

Dany freaking Crooks… the woman that you are! 🥹😭

I’m genuinely obsessed with this book, but more than that, I’m obsessed with Joey baby and every single facet of her development. I saw so many pieces of myself reflected in Jo, and somehow Dany managed to make me feel seen, understood, and validated while also making me laugh my ass off.

Make Me Laugh feels like curling up on the couch with your favorite 90s sitcom. It’s cute, funny, romantic, a little chaotic, and has so much heart underneath it all.

Thank you, Dany, for writing Jo. For letting her be complicated and messy and funny and human. And for writing the exact kind of rom-com I didn’t even realize I needed this badly. 🥹

This was everything I needed and then some.

And yes, I’m already planning my reread for the second the audiobook drops because apparently reading it once was simply not enough!!! 💚🎧 by @abookishbuzz

THE COVER IS HERE 🖤🕯️

@hm.wolfe ‘s upcoming indie release, Twelve, is every gothic, dark, and suspenseful dream I could have imagined in a cover. I’m already screaming about this book!!
Cover art by @skaiwitch

Wuthering Heights x The Fall of the House of Usher x Clue

I already know this is going to be everything I want in a gothic mystery: dark, atmospheric, haunting, and still somehow tragically romantic.

If you see me begging for this book to be in my hands right now, mind ya business. by @abookishbuzz

H.M. Wolfe is giving us an indie standalone and ohhhh this sounds GOOD!!!

Set in the 1800s with Wuthering Heights meets The Fall of the House of Usher vibes, Twelve is bringing gothic atmosphere, murder mystery, AND romance. Basically all the things I need wrapped into one dark, haunting little package.

And thankfully we don’t have to suffer through a ridiculously long wait because Twelve is coming December 2026!! 🖤

Now we wait for the cover reveal because I already know I’m going to need to see it immediately. by @abookishbuzz

Worth the Wild by Bea Borges is officially OUT NOW and I need everyone to experience the emotional damage this book caused me!!

Colt and Marigold completely stole my heart. This is one of the best amnesia/TBI storylines I’ve read, and Bea had me crying, obsessing, and fully convinced I knew where this story was going. Joke’s on me though, because that plot twist?!?! SO freaking good.

Worth the Wild is the final interconnected standalone in the Silverthorne series, and Bea absolutely went out with a bang. I’m still thinking about this book and probably will be for the foreseeable future.

Happy release day, @beaborges.author !! 🖤

Go get your hands on this one NOW!! by @abookishbuzz

The love that I have for everything Sophia St. Germain writes should probably be studied. She is the freaking queen of writing the best angst, tension, and broody MMC’s. I am so honored to officially be part of the Sophia’s Saints with @kensingtoncreatorhq @kensingtonbooks 🖤

And if you see me reading To the Rotting End numerous times before release day… mind ya business. 😎 by @abookishbuzz

I was excited about this book the moment @authorhollyrenee announced it.

But then I saw THIS deluxe edition… and if there’s one thing guaranteed to ruin my financial stability, it’s a gorgeous special edition.

This Deluxe Edition includes a stunning designed edge by the incredible @charliebowater, a detailed world map by @forensicsandflowers, and gorgeous inside-cover art also by @forensicsandflowers

When Sophia told us she was writing a Viking-inspired romantasy, I knew I was doomed in the best way.

The FMC Elvara is fierce, resilient, and beautifully complex. She’s navigating grief, uncertainty, and a world that refuses to make things easy for her, and I was rooting for her from page one.
And Darcke… Let’s just say Sophia clearly knows how to write a broody man. 🥵 The chemistry is undeniable, and true to Sophia’s style, the slow burn is absolutely exquisite. Every interaction leaves you wanting more!

If you haven’t already, make sure to pre-order Who Hears the Waters Call. Trust me, this is one you won’t want to miss. by @abookishbuzz

Not me adding a cookbook to my TBR 🐉

Honestly, this may be the most niche thing I’ve ever posted...

But now I’m trying to convince myself that buying cookbooks based off my favorite books is totally a normal personality trait. 🤷🏻‍♀️✨

Obsessed with these Moon Magic Lavender Lemon Vanilla Bean Martini cocktails from @practical.magic.apothecary. We added gin and leveled them up by adding lavender and vanilla bean syrups and lemon juice. Perfection.

Drinking these while playing the Priorities Fourth Wing game provided hours of fun. It’s been a lovely way to spend a Saturday. 🌙✨💜 by @abookishbuzz

Current status: aggressively staring at my recent book mail trying to decide what to read first 👀📦

✨ Bad Boy Era by Amy Daws
Release date: May 26th
A grumpy Irish rugby player with a terrible reputation, small town chaos, animal rescue center vibes, AND sister’s best friend tension?? This sounds like the exact kind of messy, flirty summer romance I eat up every single time. Also… “thighs that could crack a watermelon” is unfortunately enough to sell me.

✨ Hart’s Landing by Melanie Harlow
Release date: OUT NOW
I already know this book is going to make me emotional. Second chance romance mixed with old friendships, small town secrets, and returning home after years away just feels like the perfect recipe for heartbreak and healing.

✨ A Kiss of Crimson Ash by Anuja Varghese
Release date: May 26th
This one sounds STUNNING. Medieval India-inspired romantasy with multiple POVs, dual magic systems, morally gray danger, and high heat? I fear this book was specifically created for me.

✨ The Wolf Queen’s Curse by Kaylee Archer
Release date: September 1st
This book showing up in my mail may have finally been the push I needed to start this series because witches, werewolves, pack politics, dangerous alliances, and an Alpha MMC sounds dangerously tailored to my reading taste. I already know I’m about to fall headfirst into this world.

Huge thank you to the publishers for sending these my way because my mailbox has been absolutely spoiled lately, clearly 🥹💌

Now help me decide… which one would you be picking up first? 👀📚📖
