QOTD: What are you currently reading?
Happy Saturday Friends!

It’s officially the weekend which means we have been in our new home for a week. The unpacking is getting there slowly and surely and for those who saw my story yesterday you would know I finally was able to unpack my books from the boxes!

Which means I’m able to officially come back and hopefully resurrect this account and I’m super excited! This is my current read I’ve been reading the ebook on Libby when I get a chance but I also found the physical copy as well. This also just reminded me how behind on sequels I am because I read Shatter Me back in 2022 and I’m only just getting to this one now.

QOTD: What are you looking forward to the rest of this year?

September! Wow what to say except what a month, all I can say is I felt unstoppable and I don’t think I’ve consumed this much content in nearly two years. I really enjoyed all the TV shows I finished this month and I can’t wait for the next seasons for them all! I finally read Crazy Rich Asians last month after it being on my TBR for so long and I also just saw the Crazy Rich Asians sequel TV show announcement and I’m honestly so excited!!

Book Ratings:

The Song of Achilles - 4 Stars ⭐️
Absolutely heartbreaking but I was happy about it

After We Collided - 3 Stars ⭐️
WOW this is a really long book and as an audiobook I felt like this was never-ending, but it was enjoyable and it got me through organising my bookshelves like it was a breeze

Crazy Rich Asians - 4 Stars ⭐️
Love this, kind of insane and can’t wait to read the next one by @abookishplanet

QOTD: What’s on your Halloween TBR?

H A P P Y F R I Y A Y & H A P P Y O C T O B E R

I can’t believe we’ve made it to October and therefore nearly the end of the year! We had a near full and big moon the other night and although you can’t see it here it looks really cool and bright yellow so I had to take a photo with my current spooky read because it felt so right. I’ve picked out two books for my spooky TBR and this is one of them and I’m enjoying this book and I love this series! Keep an eye out for the next one coming soon because I’ve very much been looking forward to continuing that series as well!

QOTD: How many physical books do you own?

Happy Thursday Friends!! I’ve had my bookshelves for two weeks now and so I thought it was about time I finally posted a new selfie with them.

It took me nearly a whole day to put all the books and things on them and I’m super happy with how they turned out and I ended up counting that I have 496 physical books that I own which is insane to think about but I’m excited to hopefully read my physical TBR down so if anyone has any tips for becoming a faster reader that would be amazing. by @abookishplanet

My current read Vs My TBR for the rest of this year and probably the next year as a very slow reader.
Let me know if any of these are you favourites and which ones are not!

QOTD: Are there any new shows you’ve found that you’ve been loving?

I know I’m a little late, but here is my August Wrap-up! These are all the books, TV shows, and movies I consumed in August!

Starting with the book I finished Unravel Me - I actually read Shatter Me in 2022 and I really don’t know why I didn’t read this one till now but that’s just a really bad habit of mine. I was excited to jump back into the world and although I found the first pages to be a little slow all of a sudden it started to pick up and I was hooked and I’m excited to read the next one!

As for TV shows I watched two book-to-TV adaptations and I was super excited. Yes, I finally watched Off Campus and honestly that’s my new favourite family I love every single one of them give me more! I’m also really sad they cancelled Spider-Noir and Amazon let me just have a chat. I have some things to say because I feel like every time I make a show my personality they cancel it!

Movies are very exciting times because I’m back on my Disney Movie binge which is exciting as we have made it to the year 1999 finally! The 90’s and 2000’s are my fondest memories of the Disney era and I had a few of the movies on VHS including Monsters Inc and Beauty and the Beast.

QOTD: Are you excited for spring?

Happy September I can’t believe how close we are to finishing the end of the year! The rest of the year gets quite busy with birthdays and Christmas but it’s super exciting at the same time.

Here is my TBR for the month of September, I’m currently reading The Song of Achilles at the moment then once I’m finished that I will be reading Crazy Rich Asians next and I also have an audiobook lined up with After We Collided for when doing my planner and little things like that in between watching YouTube as well.

I also have plans to finish some more shows this month as well because I’m still playing catch up on those so my plan is finishing Every Year After, My Life with the Walter Boys and I want to start Sterling Point and Young Sherlock. by @abookishplanet

QOTD: Do you have a favourite planet/star, and are you even someone who likes looking at the moon?

Happy Thursday everyone! Yesterday the moon was out at about 5pm and it looked like a full moon so I had to take a picture (it’s so small in this you can barely see it but it looked really cool in person)

Getting much closer to the weekend which is so exciting! I’ve been thinking about what I want to do with this account and when I unpacked my books I realised how many I truly have so one of my goals now is to try and have most of my books featured on this account at least once!

This way I’ll be posting something at least regularly but it’s just the captions I need to think of next which always seems to be the toughest part but I’m thinking some updates about what I’ve been up to or what I’m currently listening to or watching will be cool as well.

If anyone else has any ideas let me know? I miss back in the old days when we used to have the monthly photo challenges (someone bring those back please and thank you)

Picked up the keys to our new place over the weekend and it was a very exciting time I can’t believe we officially have been able to go inside the house as a complete house all done, it’s been very busy since then including organising the move for this weekend but all in all we are very very happy people who can’t wait to kick up our feet and relax and enjoy it. 🏡🏡

Had our PCI and couldn’t believe we got to walk through the house as an actual house. Since starting the build in January no words can explain how long we have been waiting and anticipating for this day. Hopefully not too long now until we get the keys and wow are we counting down the days 😁 #pci #hallmarkhomes #newbuildjourney taken in Caboolture, Queensland by @abookishplanet
