Last month, we had the opportunity to participate in ARJC, where we experienced the power of creativity, innovation, organized rage and joy. 💚✨

Our days in Nairobi reminded us that activism is about constantly learning, unlearning, and asking better questions. We came back inspired to keep exploring how data can strengthen advocacy while ensuring that every number reflects the people and stories behind it.

As a fully digital organization, one of the highlights was simply being together, even not all 🥲, some of us. Sharing meals, conversations, and laughter in person reminded us that behind every screen is a community working toward the same future.

We also had the privilege of presenting, together with Women on Web, our abstract, “Occupying Digital Spaces: Abortion Information as Political Resistance and Collective Resilience.” We explored the realities of digital censorship, the new pathways abortion seekers are creating through AI, and how the data generated through these interactions helps us understand where people are, what they need, and how we can respond with better, and more accessible information. Data matters, not just because it tells us what is happening, but because it helps us meet the people where they are.

We returned home with full hearts, new ideas, and even more motivation to keep presenting data with heart.

💚Sabemos, pela experiência de outros países, que ampliar quem cuida é ampliar o acesso. 💚

Hoje, no Brasil, muitas mulheres ainda enfrentam barreiras, demora e violência institucional quando buscam aborto legal. Parte desse problema acontece porque o cuidado fica concentrado em poucos profissionais e poucos serviços.

Mas a evidência científica é clara: a Organização Mundial da Saúde recomenda que profissionais de saúde treinados , como enfermeiras e obstetrizes, também possam oferecer esse cuidado com segurança até 12 semanas de gestação.

Ampliar quem pode cuidar significa ampliar o acesso, reduzir barreiras e garantir um atendimento mais digno e humano.

É por isso que apoiamos essa campanha e o debate da ADPF 1207. Porque acesso à saúde não pode depender de poucos serviços ou poucas pessoas. by @abortion.data

For 4 years, we’ve refused to let abortion stigma lead the conversation.

We chose data and hope instead.

Because when we talk about abortion with data,
people feel less alone.

They can see that what they’re going through
is not something rare or “weird”,
it’s part of the lived experiences
of people with uteruses everywhere.

We’ve spent 4 years working toward that.

Bringing abortion into spaces where it was avoided.
Questioning why silence felt “normal.”
Making information accessible and impossible to ignore.

For 4 years, we’ve taken abortion
to the table,
to our feeds,
to the streets,
and wherever it needs to be.

This work is not ours alone.

It belongs to the organizations that have built this with us,
to those who have supported and sustained it,
and to everyone who has shown up, spoken up, and stood with us.

We exist because of this collective.

And we’re not done.

Our participation in the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) 2026 reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing gender equality in complex and evolving political contexts.

Throughout our participation , we contributed to critical conversations on abortion, digital rights, and the broader challenges impacting the ability of individuals to fully exercise their rights and freedom with ally organizations @plancpills, @abortionpil, @womens_link and @garnethenderson @autonomy_news.

In a moment marked by polarization and resource constraints, spaces like CSW remain essential for collective reflection, alliance-building, and sustained advocacy.

We leave reaffirming our commitment to continue bringing these conversations into global and local spaces, working toward a future where all people can live (online and offline) their sexual, reproductive, and non-reproductive lives with dignity, autonomy, and care. by @abortion.data

The fight for reproductive justice is increasingly happening online.

Digital spaces are lifelines for people seeking abortion information and support. But they are also contested terrain, shaped by censorship, misinformation, surveillance, and coordinated attacks on feminist and pro-abortion voices.

As a side event to CSW70, join us for an in-person roundtable exploring the intersection of reproductive justice and digital rights. With speakers from Women’s Link Worldwide, Women on Web, Plan C, and Abortion Data, we will examine the risks, the resistance, and the legal strategies needed to protect defenders and strengthen accountability online.

The European Commission said YES.

YES to life, a life with choice, autonomy, and freedom.

In its response to the European Citizens’ Initiative @myvoicemychoiceorg, the Commission made something historic clear: EU funding can be used to support access to safe abortion care.

This is not symbolic. It is a public health and human rights statement. When funding is explicitly available for abortion access, we are making a political declaration:
the lives of women and people with uteruses matter.

The possibility for Member States to use the European Social Fund Plus to expand access to safe and affordable abortion care is a crucial step, especially for those living in countries where access remains restricted. At a moment when reproductive rights are being rolled back in many parts of the world, this clarity is powerful, necessary, and deeply political.

Today we celebrate this historical event 💚
