Get to know - Cersy

If you've lingered around any dark room across the north west with a decent enough rig in it for long enough over the last couple of years, it's likely you've experienced @cersy___ haunt the dials - and it's not without good reason.

For the few of you who haven't had the pleasure, Cersy has been a firm favourite for parties across Manchester and Liverpool for her scene setting approach to the club. Rarely one for cheap thrills; each set is a craft of leftfield oddities foraged from the further reaches of those late-night YouTube rabbit holes, expertly stitched alongside post-punk laden dub, breaks and bass pressure. We're all for the Bandcamp flavour of the month and everything, but it's definitely this commitment to finding something fresh and rarely known - or dusting off the cobwebs from an unheard gem and taking a risk in the booth that excites us most when it comes to booking artists.

Cersy first came onto our radar via her @cellardoor.liverpool residency: the Merseyside based promoters which we have admired a great deal for their stellar club listings across Liverpool's venues from The Bakery (sorely missed), to Meraki. We felt immediately on meeting them that they shared the same ethos to us when it came to promoting, by wanting to offer something new and exciting to an already oversaturated scene. This is why we only felt it right to ask them to join forces to bring over @warzou_bigscience for his UK debut; an artist we have both admired and dreamed of booking for too long now.

This one feels extra special also, given that this is the last month that @n_om.club will exist in its current form after 10 years ! This will naturally be a bitter loss for Manchester, but what a space it has been. We are honored that we've been given the opportunity to host our event here before the venue closes its doors for good. So come shake a leg and see it off in a manner it deserves !

You can catch Cersy warming up 23:00 - 01:00 this Friday 7th November at N/om.

Advance tickets still available via RA !

We’re super excited to welcome down one of our fave local heroines in @anna___nna_ this weekend. A co-founding member of essential community platform and party @allhands0ndeck, and a mainstay in booths from TWH to MOT - I’m sure she’ll need little introduction.

We’re expecting something a lil weird, wonderful yet utterly danceable when she warms up for @nast_is_nvst this Friday. Check out the recent show for her residency on @narr.radio for some similar flavours - Link upstairs 🌿
