Missie geslaagd? 👀 by @aboutmybookshelf

The problem isn’t that I don’t have anything to read. The problem is that I have too many options and somehow none of them feel right. 😂

How long does it take you to choose your next read? 📚

Sprayed edges are a scam. A very pretty, very effective scam 😂

Because why do we suddenly need another edition of a book just because someone made the edges look gorgeous? The story is exactly the same. And yet, here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️ I clearly have no room to judge.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who falls for pretty sprayed edges!

Best part of this joke: I got this bookmark from a friend and explained to my son what it meant. Later that day, he saw me reading and yelled: “Mom!”
Me: “Yeah?”
Him: “Put it in your book.”

He understood the assignment. 😂

Mom jokes aside, I love spending time with him 🩵 Even when it means putting my book down for a minute.

When the book-to-movie adaptation comes out and you have FOMO but also fear they’ll ruin the book 😂

Have you watched it already?

Last week I saw @charlies.litlife was told she was too old to have a bookstagram account. If you ask me you’re never too old to share your love for books. If it makes you happy it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else.
