🫍 Our first trip is here! (BOOKING IS OPEN)

Freediving with orcas and whales in the Arctic — Dec 7–13, 2026, departing from Tromsø❄️

We sail out to where herring, whales and orcas gather in the winter dark, under magical Arctic light, dancing northern lights, and the silence of the ocean below. You don’t need freediving experience, it’s up to you whether you float on the surface or dive deeper.

This is our very first expedition, hosted in collaboration with @seilnorge aboard their 70-foot expedition boat Valiente. Booking and payment go through them, link in bio for all details and sign-up.

❄️Limited spots.
🤿You must be a confident swimmer and snorkeler.
🌦️This is a nature- and weather-driven expedition. Wildlife encounters and weather conditions can never be guaranteed.
🐋We always put the animals first and never chase wildlife.

We’ve been dreaming about creating our own expedition company for so long, and after hosting many group trips, it finally feels like the right time🌀

We started traveling together back in 2019/2020, and it completely changed our lives. Since then, we’ve explored places we once only dreamed about, had the wildest encounters with nature, met incredible people from all over the world, and grown in ways we never expected.

@abovenbelow.co was created for those who crave more than just another holiday. It’s for the people who want real adventures, meaningful connections, and moments that make you feel truly alive. Our goal is simple: to share the same experiences that traveling has given us <3

Starting something like this is definitely a little scary, but we’re beyond excited to finally make this dream a reality. Our website and our 2027 expeditions are launching very soon, and we honestly can’t wait to share everything we’ve been working on!!

Keep an eye out over the next few days… because we’re kicking things off with a very special expedition that we think you’re going to love… for winter 2026🐋⛵️
