A love for vintage watches with a passion for #Heuer that was sparked by the orange and black #Autavia #AintGotTimeToSetThatDate

What watch calls to you? Mine, shockingly, just so happens to to be my namesake. Although it rarely gets worn to work, when given the opportunity I reach for the Heuer Autavia Orange Boy. I know this is not surprising news to anyone, but I’d still love to know, which watch do you reach for most often? It also happens to be Star Wars day and it looks like I’m force grabbing this watch so that’s pretty cool. May the 4th be with you! Macro shots of my Heuer 1163 Orange Boy. Borrowed my wife's fancy camera and had some fun the other day, definitely going to have to use it more often. The hands on my orange boy are not the normal, orange tipped, stainless steal hands seen. I was assured by the seller (original owner's son) that everything is untouched, but I'm even more convinced after seeing the matching patina this close. Hope you enjoy! #vintagewatch #watchesofinstagram #watchcollection #watch #heuer #tagheuer #wristshot #vintageheuer #chronograph #autavia by @aboyandhisorange
Monochrome madness! I could spend all day taking pics of these Carreras, Heuer really knocked this design outta the park. Every time I lay my eyes on them, I become even more enamored. P.S. I recognize the irony of posting a black and white photo and my song choice 😅. #vintagewatch #watchesofinstagram #watchcollection #watch #heuer #tagheuer #watches #vintageheuer #chronograph #heuercarrera by @aboyandhisorange
I like Carreras Scroll to the second slide to see a live shot of me fired up and ready to slay #orangewatchweek with @its_time_to_show_off_watches join the fun Nov 9th thru the 13th and post any watch with any bit of orange in it! Happy Heuerween everyone!! Hope y’all have a great weekend packed with lots o fun! Didn’t mean to frighten you with my Jack Heuer’o Lantern! Heuer Autavia 1163 Orange Boy #Heuer #watch #vintagewatch #halloween #jackolantern by @aboyandhisorange
Only treats round these parts and this Carrera fits the bill! It’s funny how you can take a pic and just flat out don’t like it, try to edit it into oblivion then all the sudden you switch it to black and white and it’s near perfect. Fun part about this Heuer it’s all black and white anywho, so the shoe fits! Debating saving all of my orange watches for Nov 9th thru the 13th on #orangewatchweek hosted by @its_time_to_show_off_watches and myself, but I doubt that will be able to happen 😅. Please join in the fun by posting watch with any hint of orange in it and use the hashtag, it’s gonna be out of this world!! A nice lil pop of orange to get your Monday started off right! Speaking of orange, the host whom hosts the most, @its_time_to_show_off_watches held auditions to co-host #orangewatchweek with him! I narrowly beat out an Oompa Loompa for the part so I’m happy to ask you to join us in celebrating the coolest color to adorn watches from November 9th tru the 13th! It’s gonna be explosive!! As promised, here is the entirety of the Heuer ad I posted the other day. Nick from @adpatina was kind enough to include the entire cover of this vintage @caranddriver magazine, any one of these pages could be framed but we all know which one I’ll be displaying. I’ve also come to the age where I really appreciate a great sales experience, little touches like handwritten thank you notes really go along way with orders like this. He has definitely found a repeat customer in me. Heuer Carrera 3647N Heuer Autavia 3646 Andretti #Heuer #watch #vintagewatch #tagheuer #watchesofinstagram by @aboyandhisorange
It was surprisingly difficult to do this. My take on #selfiewatchweek2026 collides with #orangeconewednesday and it took about 43 shots until I finally got one at a good angle, decent background and an in focus watch 😅. I wanted to take a traditional selfie and doing that “blindfolded” wasn’t without its challenges. My face may be covered, but this is me, in my bar, wearing a Heuer and a hoodie and trying my best to make you smile. Thanks to our selfie hosts for making me come up with something creative ever year @aviantime @daresome @linusloveswatches and @__timenist__ and head of the cone zone @kaiwithtime Have a Wonderful Wednesday #watchfam #heuer #watch by @aboyandhisorange
A post dedicated to you! Over the weekend I broke 2000 followers, as wonderful as that is, this page was never about gaining followers. What I have gained has meant so much more. This little page has given me more than I could ever wish for; laughs, knowledge, friends and dreams come true. I have forged friendships that mean the world to me. Shared countless laughs with many of you and had great discussions with people I admire in the Heuer community. This year I was extremely honored to have been invited to the Heuer Collectors Summit. Although unable to go I am so genuinely happy for my friends that get to partake and can’t wait to see all the pictures! I look forward to making it there someday! I appreciate every single one of you for letting me share my passion for you through this hobby. I hope that I have made you smile and made you all feel as good as you make me feel, thank you my dear #watchfam #Heuer #Watch #Vintagewatch #watchesofinstagram by @aboyandhisorange
I’ve been seeing a lot of Solunars lately and been talking a lot about Seafarers as well, so I had the urge to snap a shot of mine. Pergaps the best subdial ever created, it sure is a thing of beauty. But is it fancy? This is a tool watch thru and thru, to me inherently opposite of fancy…unfancy? Dress it up with a BOR bracelet, pair it with a poinsettia (fancy plant name) and ask @aviantime doth this be worthy of #fancywatchfriday Heuer Solunar #heuer #watch #vintagewatch #watchphotography by @aboyandhisorange
