who knew parisian park chairs had so much wisdom?

I shot this little series at the Jardin du Luxembourg at the end of March and kept it in the vault for months.

Coming across these images again, I started seeing them differently — chairs waiting, sitting together, keeping their distance, watching others come and go.

and I realized that it’s funny how something as simple as a park chair can say so much about the way we connect, the way we wait, and the way we feel alone.

human connection really is everywhere, if you look long enough🫶🏻☀️ taken in Jardin du Luxembourg by @aboyinaroom

almost didn’t share this, but maybe that’s exactly why i should.

trying to put into words a feeling i’ve carried for years. the love, the guilt, the distance, the coming back, the leaving again.

no matter how many times i do it, saying goodbye to lebanon never gets easier. taken in Lebanon by @aboyinaroom
