What an oxymoron of a day today. A day of renewal of faith, new beginnings, and hope for health, and peace and joy in the New Year on this Rosh Hashana.And we take time to wish our dear friends and family a Happy New Year.

And at the very same time, this morning, in New York City, my home town, 25 years ago, the worst tragedy ever, @highlight occurred when planes, flown by terrorists, flew into the World Trade Center to obliterate our way of life called freedom!

They did not, and will not ever succeed though they are still trying. So on this very strange day, with its confluence of thoughts and dreams, I wish peace, joy and happiness for those who celebrate this Holy day, and a reminder to all the inhabitants of this world, though it’s harder than ever, Nancy Pizzulo we NEED to “be our brothers keeper”
Because our hearts beat the same way and we all bleed red blood no matter what we look like. We need to find some responsibility for each others welfare. Try hard to do some act of kindness today and every day and turn our anger into love.❤️ ❤️‍🩹 by @abramsbette

So today is an important milestone in my life! 20 years ago…yes 20…was the day I had surgery for breast cancer!
It seems today, as it did then, so surreal. But I do remember, as I entered the operating room, saying quietly, but aloud, “Cancer, you’re toast”! And so here I am, after 36 radiation treatments, and 5 years of oral medication, alive and kicking! I honestly never really thought I’d reach a 20 year milestone…and don’t want to jinx it with a celebration of any kind, but I’m quietly feeling very grateful today. For all the life I got to live in those 20 years; not the least of which is,the over the top,Nancy Pizzulojoy I get from my grandchildren., and their accomplishments and their love!As the saying goes “if I knew how wonderful grandchildren were, I’d have had them first! by @abramsbette

My sweet little Dixie!! She looks so sweet and innocent that nobody would think she’s a little mischief maker!! She brings such joy to my life…never did I think I’d have a rescue dog. But for those of you who never rescued a little soul; it will be the best thing you’ve ever done! She’s a real princess now, but I think she remembers the time she was hiding under a car at night, where she was found in Hialeah alone . You can tell she is grateful for having found me; but I’ll always be grateful for her letting me know, so soundly and surely, that she was mine and I was hers . Happy Birthday to my special grandson Ethan! A special thing we share is that when he was a baby he twisted his hair at bedtime. Not only did I do the same but sometimes do , even now! I hope you have a super birthday, and nothing but roses with no thorns for my sweetest boy. I love you bunches!
