First stop of 2024 - Egypt.

Overall rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros:

1. very cheap to get around
2. Loads of excursions and sight seeing
3. People were generally quite nice
4. Food outside of hotel was so good

Cons:
1. Have to use local taxi which meant wait times were a bit long at times
2. Have to barter with the shop staff sometimes as they have a tendency to overcharge
3. Can’t use tap water (even to brush your teeth!!! We all suffered 🤣🫠) taken in Sharm-El-Sheikh by @abroadwithdebs

Day 2 in Sharm El Sheikh
- explored the hotel grounds in the morning
- went quad biking
- went camel riding (did NOT enjoy!!)
- watched a desert show (the belly dancers hips absolutely did not lie!!)

Late post but Happy New Year!

At the beginning of 2018 I made the decision to do a study year abroad and whilst Italy wasn’t my top choice I decided to go with it. I won’t lie moving abroad has been challenging and literally draining at times, however I am grateful for the experience and all the people that I’ve met here and for everyone back home supporting me - it can only get better from here
Here’s to a wonderful 2019!
This is a year of achieving our goals and one of mine is to definitely travel and visit way more places this year and I can’t wait 🤪
