This is one of my most favorite spots in Valencia. Plaça de Sant Lluis Bertran. Steps away from the Cathedral and Basilica, and nestled in what once was the Jewish quarter 600 years ago. It’s a rarity that I find myself on a “date night” for one, but Jeff is out of town for a few days, and I was lonely at home alone. As I used to tell the guys in my mens therapy group, you need to be skilled at going out, alone, to a place you want to go, and experiencing a meal that you want to enjoy, just in your own company. My Camino prep has a twofold purpose. First, get used to walking longer distances through unknown places, and to see parts the Valencia region I wouldn’t normally see. Almàssera is only 7km away, but it is a world of difference from Ruzafa 🇪🇸 taken in Almàssera by @absalom2
