"Miner" is one of the early collaborations with Cari and myself. The track foundation came from me and Cari did his magic on that. During the past 10 years, Front Row Sweep is the one track that has streamed and sold more than any other in Absence of Facts history. Released in 2021 and running in 143bpm, it felt slightly too fast for '21 standards but these days it seems the pace has definitely helped the timeless status. Especially on Bandcamp, it's been delightful to see that many who pick the latest release, also add Front Row Sweep into their basket. Another Absence of Facts play from Ben Sims. Sims played "Orion - Verentia" on his latest Run It Red show. For a small underground imprint, these radio plays are absolutely essential — increasing Bandcamp sales and making people aware of new artists and labels. Also, having one of our all-time heroes from the 90s playing these tunes and keeping an eye on a small Finnish label — it's priceless.On a side note, after moving to Berlin and ending a short hiatus for the label, it's been great to see the increase of interest around Absence of Facts releases. A promise was made to put out a new release every 3-4 weeks during this Berlin stay — that's until next July. The next one will be up on 09.12.But hey, here's to a good weekend and that Verentia play 🍻 by @absenceoffacts
