Match results:
Virtus Badgers AFC 4 - 2 Absolute FC

Our bogey team strikes again. An early long throw gave Virtus the lead, but the boys responded well, creating plenty of chances and being denied by some top saves before Whiteboy clipped a brilliant ball over for Biggins to make it 1-1 before the break.

Second half, the effort was there but our first touch let us down. Virtus found a couple of goals from nowhere, and despite Ganj beating the offside trap to score from a Rob assist, we couldn’t complete the comeback.

A special mention to Marques, making his return from injury and filling an unfamiliar role in defence. He stepped up brilliantly, put in a solid performance, and takes home this week’s Absolute of the Match
Not our day, but we go again next week in the cup. Stronger. Better.

Goals: Biggins, Ganj
Assist: Whiteboy, Rob

Virtus Badgers AFC vs Absolute FC

We’ve been here before.
Too many times.
A team we’ve never managed to beat. A fixture that has become our curse.
And if Matchday 1 taught us anything, it’s that football punishes you when you switch off. We should have won against their affiliate side, but we let it slip in the second half and left with nothing.
Not this time.
We’re coming into this one off the back of a 5-0 win, full of confidence, momentum, and belief. The squad is fired up, focused, and ready to raise the levels even higher.
No excuses. No regrets. No letting the game get away from us.
It’s time to break the curse. It’s time to right the wrongs. It’s time to take all three points.
The run continues. The points keep coming. And this time, we’re getting the job done. taken in Hackney Marshes by @absolutefc1

Match results:
Absolute FC 5 - 0 Wojak Sunday FC

Last week hurt and today we answered.
From the first whistle the boys played like they had something to prove.
Our captain Idris set the tone early with a terrific finish. First half had drama, wasted chances, and some eyebrow raising refereeing, but we went in 1–0 with fire still in the tank.

Second half? Pure dominance.
Midfield refreshed, lessons learned from last week, mentality switched on.

Nacime unleashing a strike from outside the box for 2–0.
Bilel refusing to give up on a ball that looked gone from Robbo, fighting defender and keeper: boom 3–0.
Whiteboy making it 4–0 with ice‑cold composure.
And Ganj closing the show for 5–0.

Defence? Rock solid. Clean sheet. Zero nonsense.
A proper bounce back. A reminder of what this team is when we lock in.
Commiserations to Wojak but today belonged to the Absolutes.

Goals: Idris, Nacime, Bilel, Whiteboy, Ganj
Assists: Ganj, Rob, Whiteboy

Absolute FC vs Wojak Sunday FC

This one isn’t just another fixture. It’s a reset, a reaction, and a chance to put things right.

Last week hurt and we know that. But that’s exactly why Sunday has to be different. The boys are locked in, fired up, and ready to come out stronger, harder, and hungrier.

We need the 3 points.
Not just for the table, but to get back to grips with things, to show our identity, and to remind everyone what Absolute FC really is.

This is about pride. About response. About making a statement.
We go again and this time, we go with fire

Match Results:
Absolute FC 3 - 5 Bow Badgers

Game of two halves to start the season for Absolute FC.
We came out flying; sharp, hungry, switched on. Nikolas set the tone with a brilliant early header, Idris restored our lead with real composure, and Rizzy made it 3 - 1 before the break. First half was everything we wanted: control, confidence, shape, and belief.
Second half… a completely different picture. We lost our shape, lost a bit of confidence, and Bow Badgers punished every mistake with four goals. Whether it was fitness, focus, or thinking the job was already done, it showed how ruthless football can be.
Still, plenty of positives to take. A long season ahead, a lot more to come from Absolute FC, and this will be a big learning curve for the boys. Back to the drawing board and onto the next one.
