Moringa oil is the not-so-secret ingredient used in a lot of skin care products. While it may sound like a new skincare ingredient to many, it actually has a long tradition of use in Africa and Asia. Moringa has been used for centuries for nutritional, medical and beauty purposes and is now making its way to the US.

I did not learn about this plant or its use during my training in the US, but was fortunate to learn about it when traveling outside of the US. Like argan oil and shea butter, the benefits of moringa oil are getting recognition and are finally becoming available to use in skincare products.
