I love the moment when an idea stops being something in my head and starts becoming something I can actually see.
No deeper explanation required.
Sometimes the art is simply in creating something you haven’t seen before.

A braid becomes a line.
A puff becomes a shape.
And somewhere between precision and imagination,
hair becomes its own kind of design.

Somewhere between hair and sculpture, we stopped asking where one ends and the other begins.
Built from texture.
Balanced by imagination.
Rooted in something much older than the trend.
We’ve been shaping crowns into art long before the world decided to call it editorial.
Every coil can become a curve.
Every braid, a line.
Every strand, part of the architecture.
This is what happens when Black hair is given permission to simply… create.
And maybe that’s the beauty of it—
there were never any rules to begin with. 🖤

BUT ON MY ACTUAL BIRTHDAY I FLEW OUT TO MIAMI TO BE APART OF THIS CAMPAIGN.. SHOUT OUT TO @danasbly and @pardonmyfro family for allowing me to be apart of another one. .. I had soo much fun styling hair for this shoot. . Nothing but laughs and creativity at its finest 💚💚💚

Team @majorfacenyc had the pleasure of working with @clashofclans — and what an experience.

Huge shoutout to @tcooperbeauty for trusting me to lead one of the three days on set. Shout out to @helene.marie .. @msfoolishness .. and @paintedbyjsr for amazing team.work. The call times were brutal 😅, but seeing everything come together makes it so worth it.
