Meet duo Rachael & Vilray, one of two co-headliners aboard Songs Along the Rhine 🎶

Since their formation in 2015, Brooklyn-based duo Rachael & Vilray have achieved a certain timeless quality with their singular take on traditional pop.

Vocalist Rachael Price (also of Lake Street Dive @lakestreetdive) and guitarist/singer/songwriter Vilray evoke a bygone era.

Though rooted in the language of an earlier age, their songs transcend nostalgia with wit and a flair for the theatrical.

One week away: Sun., Sept. 27 - Thana Alexa

Thana Alexa is a Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist, composer, arranger, and producer whose music pushes boundaries from jazz, global and electronic soundscapes.

She’ll be presenting the music from her upcoming release, which reimagines songs from The Beatles and Björk to Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder alongside a tour de force of artists like Bill Frisell, John Patitucci, Joel Ross, Antonio Sánchez, Ben Wendel and Max ZT.

Joining her on stage will be a virtuosic ensemble of multi-instrumentalist singers helping her recreate the vocally driven arrangements:

This time next year on Day 5 of Songs Along the Rhine, your luxury music cruise, you’ll be coasting to Rüdesheim, Germany!

There, enjoy a hike through the picturesque vineyards of Rüdesheim, or tour the incredible Mechanical Music Museum to view extraordinary instruments and antique sound machines.
