Getting back in the saddle with @lonequail for our show Thursday July 9th at Bar Lubitsch! Looking forward to sharing these new songs with ya. Swipe for show info, pedal board finally set up with midi, and cats. RSVP link in bio. by @absurdistfiction

At its core, Absurdist Fiction has always been about experimentation: People bringing their own influences, ideas, and truths together to discover what musical magic will be conjured. Up to this point, there have been at roughly five live iterations of the project but—not for lack of trying—little music has been recorded and released.

Last year, I decided to put the live experiment on hold and focus on a more interior experiment with my own influences, ideas, and truths: What would happen if I recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered something on my own? If I did, what would that sound like?

The first fruit of that experiment is “Searching” which I’m excited to share with you all when it’s released on Friday, May 15th. Creating it has been a labor of love and delusion.

Peace, Love, and Free Palestine

Strange to think that the show before the end of the world was 4 years ago and a day now AND that Mr. T’s is no longer a venue. Time is weird. by @absurdistfiction
