AIRTIGHT returns again with another party geared towards underground sounds and providing a fan-tastically immersive experience; featuring DJs with a myriad of diverse frequencies. Spanning Acid, House ,Techno, EBM, Minimal and everything between, expect Weird 4 On The Floor Grooves to entreat your ear holes and bodies. Music begins at 11pm and expect it to go very late. <3 LOPØLO (aka Cory Vanderhoek) is constantly in a state of refinement in his eclectic tastes of Techno and House music. As a member of the prolific Umbral Sound System crew, and in putting on events around the city, LOPØLO has been a concrete part of Edmonton’s music scene for well over a decade. An avid record collector and digger, this ritual has found its way into the DNA of both his DJ sets and productions. Always focusing on a minimalist approach to build tracks that become more than the sum of their parts, he has released on labels like PPRZ Recordings, Heist Mode, Substation Records, as well as self-released works. He has also played festivals such as Bass Coast, Friendzy and Astral Harvest. loamnet is an electronic musician and DJ heavily inspired by the internet. Some of her primary influences include sci-fi futurism, industrial environments and notably, getting too much screentime. She plans on bringing some techno and breaks from the far reaches of the solar system and beyond ..... Once again joining us, is Ikari. The Patron behind groove oriented parties, Ikari’s focus is on cultivating interpersonal connection by crafting interesting soundscapes to get bodies lost in. Their blend of sounds are geared towards a unified purpose of moving bodies with frequencies that tickle the brain. If price is a barrier feel free to msg @a1r.t1ght All must be granted the right to dance Tickets at absurdcollective.com MUSIC @ 11 by @absurdvenue

Hey ya’ll! As many of you know, our sweet boy Luci (Lucifer) was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma, at only 5 years old. This news has been very heartbreaking for us, especially with him being so young. He has been able to start treatment right away which has definitely helped! Unfortunately the cost of his treatments are already adding up. So, after my beautiful friend @cameo.rose suggested, and with the help of some other amazing people; we are organizing a fundraising event for Luci to raise funds for his treatments! The event will be held on Sunday September 13 at @absurdvenue ! They have been so kind in allowing us to use their space for this event. There will be some amazing DJ’s playing some great music with great vibes, be sure to give them a follow as well! @feralhearts.official @runic_exe . @inkedby.cam will be on site tattooing live ! With a custom selection of flash pieces for the event ! All proceeds from her tattoos will be going towards Luci’s treatment too! She’s truly been so kind and amazing with suggesting the event and helping out so much! @roobhaarts will also be on site taking candid photos as well as have a photo booth set up with professional lighting and backdrops! There will also be a draw happening at the event with many prizes & many chances to win ! Some amazing businesses have donated some wicked prizes! Prizes available to win are as listed: 100$ gift card to @inkedby.cam Two tickets to Infekt at @templeballroom Two tickets to a @coded.ent show by @feralhearts.official. A photoshoot with @roobhaarts Two group climbing passes for you and 3 friends to @bouldersclimbingyeg or any rock jungle location Two passes for lift and rentals to @skirabbithill Gift card & merch from @campiobrewing Donated prize from @snowvalleyski (details will be added).
