A few garden snaps from this afternoon. Back from hols and pleased my pelargonium cutting were still alive, just potted these on. Love these gentle warm days, so glad we’re over the fierce heat of summer.

The shop will reopen Thursday the 24th after a lovely holiday. Lilly will be in that day as I play catch-up in the ceramics studio at home but I’ll be in Fri/Sat.

I always enjoy the break once I’m here (Mallorca), but I am always desperate to get home by the end of it. I miss September in the UK and I get twitchy when I’m out of the studio for too long.

I’ll be ordering some big canvases when I get home as the urge to paint is so strong. Hopefully it will still be there when they arrive.

Oil painting emerging from my trip to Walberswick in Suffolk last Monday. I was in need of a reset, life has been very hectic over the summer and my poor mind was a frazzled mess. Walking here soothed my soul and I could feel my chest becoming less tight with every step I took.

This painting is currently drying upstairs above the shop in my art studio. If you’d like to view it I’ll be there Friday & Saturday. Lilly, my daughter will be covering Thursday for me. I’ve a couple of days at home to make ceramics. But first, a walk up Wrest Park is calling so I can talk to the ducks.

Soggy garden roses from Wrest Park. Rosa Dannahue is one of my favourite David Austin roses. Gorgeous peony like ruffles and a deep spicy scent- place it by where you sit in the garden or somewhere you’ll pass frequently.

On other news- my autumn preset will be available to my new community- A Year Of Noticing, which opens on the 11th from my Substack.

I just wanted to let you know that A Bunch Of Wild will be closed from the 14th-23rd of this month as the mr has convinced me I need a holiday.
