Sometimes, life takes you somewhere you never imagined going.

You start with dreams, passion, creativity and a vision of what you want your life to look like. And somewhere along the way, deadlines become more important than dreams, meetings replace moments, and the routine slowly becomes the life you never planned for.

This reel is inspired by that feeling — the feeling of being passionate about something, yet finding yourself trapped in a completely different routine.

But maybe there’s another side to it.

In Islam, we’re reminded that our lives are not without purpose. Allah says:

“Indeed, I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” — Qur’an 51:56

That doesn’t mean we have to abandon our careers or responsibilities. Work, ambition and providing for ourselves can all be meaningful when our intentions are right. But sometimes we get so busy chasing a livelihood that we forget the One who provided it.

Maybe the goal isn’t to escape every responsibility.

Maybe it’s to find purpose within them.

To work hard, but not let work own your heart.
To chase your dreams, but not at the cost of your Deen.
To earn, but remember Who gave you the ability to earn.
And to keep moving forward while trusting that Allah’s plan is greater than the one we had for ourselves.

So if this reel feels a little too real… take it as a reminder, not a statement.

This is simply a concept inspired by a story and the reality many of us experience.

Nothing personal. Just a little reflection through cinema. by @abuulifestyle
