Shortly after this first shot I got caught out by a bigger set that came in wide, with me in the worst spot 😂 however it was a fun and quick ride over the reef for a moment underwater. Despite that there's nothing better than shooting surf, especially in water, I use the aquatech housings which are brilliant especially paired with the Sony A7RV and a 35mm.

If you're interested I am going to start offering solo or group surf shooting sessions in water or from land, video or stills. Why have all the highest res camera gear and not use it for what I love most.

BLUEFIN TUNA, scientifically known as Thunnus thynnus, are making a massive comeback along the UK shoreline—numbers are staggeringly high right now! 🐟💨 Did you know these giants can reach speeds of 40–45 mph? Incredible creatures.

Here’s a shot I captured from the shoreline—and no, I wasn’t using the 200–600mm! This was on the Sony 70–200mm GM II, and I actually had to zoom out because it was that close. 📸🔥

A little reminder that not everything you see on here is real. This is one of my old photos, run through ChatGPT to add the eclipse.

Although some photos are breathtaking, in a world full of AI it’s getting harder to tell the difference. Nothing should replace the nature we can visibly see and experience with our own eyes. 🌙 by @abwatershots

Some architectural masterpiece, this Sydney Opera House. 🤩

It’s funny how you can see something on TV for years, but when you finally see it in person, it feels completely different to how you imagined it.

Went full tourist mode on this one 🤣

And before anyone asks—no AI was used to remove the crowds. I just waited for the perfect moment. 📸 not that I’m against AI it’s great for removing those unwanted bits from the background when all else fails and saves valuable time.

Well Sydney, where do I begin?

Usually I avoid cities and opt for quiet places with surf and simple setups. Well, Sydney has completely changed that.

The views are spectacular, there’s something amazing around every corner, the people are incredibly friendly, the weather is warm, and there are so many great places to eat.

We’ve seen so much during our time here, but one thing that really stood out was the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Why? The workmanship involved is incredible, it contains 52,000 tonnes of steel, and people walk to its summit every day thanks to @bridgeclimbb — which is seriously cool.

If you love photography, this place is a dream. The buildings, bridges, the iconic Opera House, beaches, wildlife, city lights, and even the metro system give you endless opportunities to shoot.

Honestly, it just keeps giving. As I write this, I’m getting notifications about great white sharks spotted locally.

If you ever get the chance to visit Sydney, do it ⚡️
