Finally got to visit @the_espresso_playground Marikina. Usually this 24-hour cafe is packed, but chanced upon them on a very slow morning. We regularly order their coffee for delivery via @grab_ph so we know what to expect. It's the first time for us to order from their food menu. First was the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. For ₱200, the sandwich was ample enough for 2. The amount of potato chips was generous, it's like they dumped a whole bag of chips onto the plate. 😂 The cheese was super stretchy, gooey and melty, absolutely delicious. Next was the Crispy Liempo (Pork Belly) Platter from their All-Day Breakfast menu. The liempo was thick, tender, but surprisingly crispy. It's perfectly paired with the lechon sauce and their in-house spiced vinegar. The serving was enough for two people if you order extra rice and egg. Great value for ₱260. Lastly, we ordered their Mango Sticky Rice for dessert, for ₱180, it came in a big cup and can easily be shared by two people. The Sticky Rice was properly soft with right level of sweetness. The mangoes were sweet and ripe. The warm coconut sauce brought the two ingredients perfectly together. A satisfying end to our meal. Will definitely be visiting this place again. by @abyssinian13

Dine-In @misterdonut_ph is night and day different from 711 sold Mister Donut. The donuts are moist and fluffy, with more varieties like the deliciously creamy Sugar-Raised Bavarian Overload, Sugar-raised Strawberry Filled, and the Sugar-raised Chocolate Fudge. The Spaghetti is a cheesy and meaty delight, its taste perfectly balanced with just a hint of sweetness. The garlic bread is a surprise with its soft and buttery goodness. The Matcha and Hojicha is fairly good for fast-food quality. A bit on the sweet side to cater to wider range of people. My take on the McGriddle/Jollibee Pancake Sandwich- Thick-cut Canadian Bacon, Fried Egg, a Slice of American Cheese, sandwiched between two fluffy pancakes. A smothering of maple syrup is optional but ideal 😁 #food #foodstagram #breakfast #foodie by @abyssinian13

Neighborhood finds. I decided to walk to the neighborhood grocery store and passed by a shop that sells freshly made Ube Buchi. I drive by this area everyday, but its my first time noticing this shop.
