Turning a Ministry of Health (卫生部) scam robo-call into an electro banger. 🤖🇸🇬

Improvised live electronic jam on the Ableton Push 3 at Loushang, Singapore. Sliced up the scam audio into a custom Drum Rack and went to work. If the scammers are going to waste our time, we might as well make music out of it. 🎛️⚡️

Very glad that Gene Sha Rudyn @genesharudyn and I could meet up yesterday to discuss an upcoming music collaboration. After decades of knowing each other in school and playing together in bands in university, we are going to create something unexpected! by @abysssimian

The ultimate portable jam setup? 🌌 We’re putting the Teenage Engineering EP-136 K.O. Sidekick mixer to the test!

Watch how we tweak, glitch, and sweep a beat from the Pocket Operator Tonic and Korg Volca FM using the Sidekick’s performance FX. From buttery filter sweeps to chaotic tape reverses, this little mixer is a powerhouse for live electronic music. 🔊🔥

🇸🇬 Want to try this gear out for yourself? Thanks to City Music Singapore @citymusicsg for bringing in the EP-136 Sidekick, Volca series, and Pocket Operators!

Which effect was your favorite? Let us know below! 👇
