Congratulations to our @coachatlantic/@maritime.bus Athlete of the Week, Malek Karoui!

Some players have strong weekends. Malek had the kind of weekend people will be talking about for a long time.

On Saturday, with the match deadlocked and opportunities hard to come by, he took matters into his own hands. His exceptional solo effort produced the game's only goal in a hard-fought 1-0 victory.

He picked up right where he left off on Sunday, scoring once and adding an assist in a commanding 3-0 win. Beyond the scoresheet, Malek was a constant threat, creating chances and making an impact whenever he was on the ball.

Two goals, one assist, two wins. That's the definition of a game-changing weekend, and it's exactly why Malek deserves to be named ACAA Athlete of the Week.

Congratulations to our @coachatlantic/@maritime.bus Athlete of the Week, Lindsey Smith!

Lindsey Smith was a driving force for the Tommies' attack, recording three goals and two assists across a pair of convincing victories this weekend. The fourth-year veteran was a constant offensive threat, combining relentless forward runs, creative playmaking, and tireless work off the ball to help power the Tommies' undefeated start to the season.

A native of Rocky Point, Prince Edward Island, Smith has been a key contributor throughout her career and has now accumulated 12 regular-season goals in 31 starts while wearing the green and gold. by @acaa_aasc

Congratulations to our @coachatlantic/@maritime.bus Athlete of the Week, Connor Sikasak!

Connor had a standout weekend for the Seawolves, scoring three goals across two games.

On Saturday against Holland College, he found the back of the net twice, but it was his overall performance that really stood out. Connor did an excellent job linking play, holding the ball up with his back to goal, bringing teammates into the attack, and making intelligent runs to stretch the opposition's back line.

On Sunday, he added another goal with a brilliant corner kick, capping off a three-goal weekend.

Just as importantly, his work rate without the ball was exceptional. Connor tracked back when needed and helped the Seawolves defend from the front.

It was a complete weekend from the Seawolves' striker, featuring goals, quality on the ball, intelligent movement, and a willingness to do the hard work for the team. by @acaa_aasc

MaryAnne is in her second year at Crandall University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. Building on an impressive rookie season, she entered this year determined to elevate her performance to the next level. That hard work paid off this weekend at the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus in Truro, Nova Scotia, where she captured the first race victory of her collegiate career. Guided by coach Josiah Cochran and fueled by months of dedicated training, MaryAnne showed remarkable composure throughout the race. Rather than leading from the outset, she remained patient and focused, conserving her energy for a powerful finish. Her strategic approach paid off in the closing stages as she surged past her competitors to secure a well-earned first-place finish. by @acaa_aasc
