My second account, as my original account was hacked and still can’t get it back. I’m still a poor excuse for a father, and my dog is my best friend.

Alexander Cabot the III… teenage manager of the teen pop group Josie and the Pussycats! Clueless and easily frightened, wealthy Alex along with his spoiled twin sister Alexandra, travel the globe with The Pussycats who when not performing their pop hits, are dodging Bond-like villains like Professor Greenthumb and The Eye. This detailed custom figure was designed and manifested by Elias of @customs_for_the_kid. Elias adapted their design so beautifully! I am excited to create new adventures with Alexandra’s “chicken brother”! #josieandthepussycats #hannabarbera #rockmusic #alexandercabot #classiccartoon by @acabot3

This is Alexandra Cabot, rich, spoiled and selfish “member” of the group in the animated series Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space. Alexandra can’t help herself, and her meddling puts the teens in constant danger. Compound that with her jealousy of Josie, lead singer of the band, and there’s always trouble. This figure was actually the first in Elias’ series of character figures from this classic cartoon. I have been wanting a figure of Alexandra, AND a set of figures from the Outer Space cartoon. Creating this figure not only gave us Alexandra, but the body sculpt for the other three female characters! Win-win! Elias only needed to create heads for Valerie, Melody and Josie without their cat ears, and the figures were done! They also added a new feature with this set of figures, new slightly bent arms to give them an appearance of movement, and a gripping left hand to hold accessories. Please note the perfected details that Elias from @customs_for_the_kid added to create Alexandra’s classic sneer! #josieandthepussycats #hannabarbera #rockband #popmusic #rockmusıc by @acabot3

They’re blast in’ off now! Elias at @customs_for_the_kid has REALLY done it again! They have created the first four character figures from the 1973 Hanna-Barbera animated series Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space! This post is actually a “teaser” for the individual character figures posts I’m going to make. But I have had these figures in hand now for a month, and it was time to get the Pussycats in their space suits out there for their fans! Stay tuned!! #josieandthepussycats #archiecomics #hannabarbera #rockband #popmusic by @acabot3

Meet Valerie Brown of Josie and the Pussycats! Valerie is a historic figure for television, as she is the very first African American heroine in animation. The animated series was created by Hanna-Barbera based on the Archie comic Josie and the Pussycats, and released in September 1970 (their 55th anniversary is this year!).
As the group’s brains and level-head, Valerie often comes up with the means to rescue her friends from the weekly maniacal villain! This gorgeous figure was made by Elias of @customs_for_the_kid … Elias is a creative artist, able to work closely with their client to design and forge something that brings forth the customers childhood dreams. The Pussycats figures beautifully made by @customs_for_the_kid have given me so much, exact three-dimensional characters I have loved since I was four years old. I’m not sure there are many of us who would not want this! #customsforthekid #josieandthepussycats #josie #melody #valerie #archie #archiecomics #comics #hannabarbera #animatedseries #animation #animated #cartoon #saturdaymorning☀️ #rockmusic #rockstars #rockband #popmusic #popstars #toys #customtoys #actionfigures #customactionfigures #toyphotography #actionfigurephotography by @acabot3

This is Melody, Drummer for Josie and the Pussycats, Hanna-Barbera’s hit 1970 animated series. Originally featured in the Archie Comic “She’s Josie”, Melody’s last name was Jones or Valentine, depending on the writer of the story you were reading! Melody is the heart of the group, and though was created as sort of an air-head, they matched that with Melody’s some-time brilliant ideas out of thin air! And her ability to sense danger by her ears suddenly wiggling. This Melody figure is another gold star by Elias, artist at @customs_for_the_kid ! Elias has such talent in recreating for their clients, really listening and asking questions to be sure they meet the needs of the customer. If I felt like I was not happy with the shape of the top of the head or the size of the eyes, this was met with a quick amended design and no issue. Elias does not put ego before their work. I am blown away by how Elias approaches each idea and request. It is unusual in today’s lack of good customer service. AND Elias is creating a childhood dream that can be held in your hand. I have another few Josie and the Pussycats figures in the “pipeline”, and I’m looking forward to sharing these exciting figures with you! #customs_for_the_kid #josieandthepussycats #josie #melody #valerie #archie #archiecomics #comics #animatedseries #animated #animation #cartoon #saturdaymorning☀️ #hannabarbera #1970s #rockband #rockstar #rockmusic #popstar #popmusic #customtoys #customactionfigures #actionfigures #actionfigurephotography #toyphotography #toys #girlbands by @acabot3

Lois Lane! After almost 50 years, Spin Master has created and released Lois Lane from Superman 1978! As played By Margot Kidder, the figure was sculpted in the costume she wore in her death scene in the movie. I’m thrilled that we finally have a Lois figure, as she does not get much attention from toy companies, even though she is central to all of Superman’s stories and has played major parts in the films. Here’s to hoping we get a Lois Lane from the new Superman film!

The current project for @customs_for_the_kid are the addition of Valerie and Melody of The Pussycats! As you can see from Elias’ designs, they are spot-on. Amazing. Elias has the body design for these two character in their catsuits already completed, as the molds were created for the Josie figure and can be used for Valerie and Melody! The head design and molds are all they really needed to create these figures. I will hopefully see these beautiful figures soon, and I will post them when they arrive! Side note- in the future, @customs_for_the_kid will also produce additional arms and instruments for these new figures! So excited! PLEASE NOTE! If you are interested in these figures, the molds are made and the figures can be produced for YOU! And there will be more Josie and the Pussycats figures coming this year! #customsforthekid #josieandthepussycats #melody #valerie #customtoys #customactionfigures #actionfigures #cartoonclassics #cartoon #animation #animated #hannabarbera #archie #archiecomics #comics #popstar #popmusic #rockstar #rockmusic #rockband #1970s by @acabot3
