Happy Sunday!😘
You know those coconut covered cream buns from the Asian bakery? (#奶油椰絲包)
It’s one of my childhood favs and this is my chestnut take on it😄🌰 (w/ wholemeal bun so it feels healthier??😂)

What’s your fav Asian bakery item?😋

🌰Mont Blanc w/ Salted caramel 😋

I saw mont blanc sold in so many bakeries in Japan but they’re hard to find here. So naturally, the solution is to give it a go myself🤭 (Swipe to see the filling😋)

Happy Mother’s Day!💐💗

These Mother’s Day cakes are my first baking project since my recent return from a looooong holiday in Japan, and it felt so good to bake again!😊 I had a lovely trip (except the getting gastro part), and I’m feeling refreshed and inspired!

Cake: Lemon chiffon sponge, lemon curd, passionfruit jelly, coconut jelly, SMB & homegrown chrysanthemums for deco💗I wanted to try something new and incorporate a jelly layer insert into the cake, and I’m so happy with how the layers turned out!🤗

Birthday cake for a 1yo baby boy👶🏻💙

I actually made it a while ago but never shared it. I love the cake but hate the photos. The lighting is so off…but oh well🤷🏻‍♀️ I have to learn to accept that although I do try, I am no photographer🧘🏻‍♀️🤭

Back to basics!🤗A simple chiffon cake with a zesty curd! (Scroll to see what fruit😛)💚Plain chiffon cakes are a fav in my household. Who says desserts need to be fancy to be enjoyable? Sometimes simple is just as good too👌👌
What’s a humble dessert that you love?

Happy Humpday!🐪
