Feeling very nostalgic today as I celebrate my 12-year anniversary at @warnerrecordsnashville. Over the last 12 years, this job has introduced me to so many amazing artists, colleagues and friends. There are hundreds more photos from over the years with so many more faces and memories, but these are from year one…when I first stepped through an open door that would become my career. I am so grateful for that special time in my life, the people who were there and where it has brought me to today. 🙏🏽

What an incredible week with my @warnerrecordsnashville fam. From celebrating with @cma Male Vocalist winners past and present, to having the #1 song on the Country Airplay charts for a 3rd straight week, to experiencing so many other special moments with so many other special people (not pictured)…it has been a wildly exhausting and rewarding ride!! But the cherry on top was getting to share it all with my mom, @katheepizzi. Now time to sleep until Thanksgiving. #donotdisturb🚫 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @acage

One week ago, this extension of my soul went to heaven...and the void she left behind is something that I wasn’t prepared for.

For a third of my life, I’ve had a shadow following me around. I think I hear her all day long. I still feel as though she’s “just in the other room.” Her preferences and “rules” are ingrained into my muscle memory. No open windows (bark!). No closed doors (pack must be together). Background music on when we leave the house (‘bark!’ again).

These last few months have been marked by so much loss for us. And now Gemma. Our constant through every storm. Our baby girl. Our “first born.”

There will never be enough nicknames or affirmations to properly express what she meant to us. She was ours, and we were hers.

Rest in peace, my Gemma Girl. The image of you and Max running around together gets me through these lonely, quiet days without you. What I wouldn’t give to hear you bark at every single passerby or scratch at another closed door again. by @acage

After nearly 5 years, I finally made it out to Switzerland to see my best friend and her family living their best Swiss lives! My first attempt at this trip was in March of 2020, but we all know what happened next…

Between then and now, so much life has happened. They moved back to the states. I had a baby. And we just accepted the fact that I’d missed my window to witness their lives over there.

I never could’ve imagined that window would reopen, or that my husband would surprise me on my 40th birthday with a trip to see them.

@ldempsey12, I am so proud of how you and your family have embraced the European life. I only wish my time living overseas had overlapped with yours so we could do this every day. by @acage

Words can’t express the love and gratitude I have for these ladies who threw us the most wonderful baby shower. Back then, we were just kids riding around in cars asking #CountryRadio to take a chance on this new duo. Today, we broke records and hit new career milestones that never would have been possible without the last decade of support from that very group of people. Thank you #CountryRadio for giving @danandshay the biggest add day of the YEAR and of their CAREER!
