Coffee, hills, more coffee, more hills, and hotdogs at Walt’s bar. Super fun day doing anything but zone 2 down at the monthly Hot Dog Ride! Big thanks to everyone who organizes this.

While this looks like the bird version of a “superhero landing” upon first glance, it was actually for the most ungraceful hop from one branch to another. One of two, fledgling red-tailed hawks @descansogardens

I did it again! @scnca State Time Trial Champion in the 35-39. Only took me 5 years of trying to get back on the top step of the box.

It’s nearly impossible to tell apart the female Allen’s and Rufous hummingbirds, but based on how territorial she was defending her nest from a Robin I would guess Rufous.

Attacking the field and ending up in the winning break. 4th place on the day, just missed out on the bike throw for the podium.

1 • 11 // Happy Anniversary @thehumanlydia
Our beginnings were as lucky as any. A chance encounter at a coffee shop like that happens almost every moment of every day, and yet there you were again and again. Unaware that the other was doing precisely the same thing, we started learning each other’s habits and trying to swing the odds in our favor that the other would be there. I don’t think I have ever spent so much time at my job working off the clock. In the ten years since that time I have had the honor of learning about you and growing our understanding and love for each other, a journey which has brought us here today to celebrate that growth with all the people we love.
I promise to continue to cherish every moment we get to learn more about each other, to foster a space of love and growth. I promise to face challenges together with you; to lead the way when I am able and to support your cause when you ask for help.
I promise to never shy away from change, to embrace who you are now as much as who you have been and most importantly, who you will become in our future together. I promise to always find new opportunities to show my love for you, in my words and my actions, in times of joy and of sorrow.
And most of all, I promise to respect our union from now until forever for all to see; to showcase our marriage as the beautiful, boundless expression of love, gratitude, friendship, respect, and the incredible opportunity we have to be more than the sum of our individual parts. by @acauseforpatrick
