Got a chance to spend some time with @qlgarrison @lkayga and the kids! Checked out the Double Duty Classic. It was a great time… afterwards we went to catch the sunset and go for a quick spin. @babydew9.22 is my 1st mate! He’s learned so much so quickly. Proud of him. So last week we did a thing! We bought a boat! 🚢Last year for my birthday/ anniversary of “His People”, my wife presented me with a check for a boat. I was FLOORED! Because I had been asking for one for like 7 years… 🤦🏾‍♂️ Anyway I didn’t wanna purchase last year because we were already mid season and I needed certifications and all! I did my research and found out: OWNING A BOAT IS A MONEY DRAIN…. It is definitely a piece of equipment that will ALWAYS need maintenance, common repairs and you must be prepared for emergency repairs. So I was up in the air like…. Naw naw naw I ain’t finna be dumping loot into something I can only play with from April til October!!! 🤷🏾‍♂️✅ So I decided to not spend Toy’s whole check and see if I even like the boating life… SO FAR… I’m LOVING IT ♥️🖤What I love most is the satisfaction, peace and tranquility this boat brings to me and my family. The smiles and the excitement is worth it all. So let’s see how this season goes. If all goes well, I might upgrade‼️ But for now we are gonna enjoy the boat that we call “JESSIE MAE” ⚓️💙🤍
