Thinking about buying your first home?
Here are some quick facts about the home-buying process you might not know:

🏡You can qualify for a home with a credit score as low as 550. While a score of 580 is preferred, don’t count yourself out if you’re below that—just keep in mind that a larger down payment may be required.

🏡To access most down payment assistance programs, you’ll need a credit score between 600 and 620. These programs can provide up to $25,000 toward your home purchase, repayable simply by living in the home!

🏡FHA loans are government-backed and ideal for first-time homebuyers. They allow for a higher debt-to-income ratio (up to 60%), are flexible with student loan repayment, and require as little as 3.5% down. In Georgia, loan limits can reach $689K in most counties. With closing costs around 4-7% of the purchase price, I can help negotiate at least $10,000 in seller contributions to lower your upfront costs.
