Are you are thinking of submitting to EAST X EAST? Check out our new blog!

2025 Best East Anglican Short film producer Rosie talks about Skelter and her experience at the festival. @accidentaldonkey @rosienosnibor @k1ngsalmon

“Neither Max nor I had had a film in Suffolk Shorts before, and we came across it while looking for local festivals to enter; now that we’ve been part of it, it will certainly remain on my list to enter with all my future shorts. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a festival to enter as a filmmaker, or for a festival to attend as a punter.“

Wow thank you so much @suffolk_shorts !!!

We are so honoured that Skelter was awarded Best East Anglian Film at this gorgeous festival ❤️❤️ we loved sharing it with local audiences, and it means so much that our film spoke to people - thank you all for the lovely words! We’ll definitely be back!

We were in incredible company - some of the best shorts programming we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying so far (including an actual BAFTA winner in the festival), which makes this even crazier, so a huge thank you to the jury for backing us. We’re very grateful. And a huge congratulations to all the other filmmakers on your beautiful films!

Sadly Director @k1ngsalmon couldn’t be there but was with us in spirit!

Thank you to our wonderful team:
