i fear crete has completely ruined every other summer destination for me 🇬🇷

clear water that literally doesn’t look real, random little beaches you find without even trying, mountain roads, tiny churches, villages, food that somehow tastes better because you’re eating it outside, and obviously at least one greek cat appearing everywhere you go 😭

this island is so much more than the places you see all over tiktok too. some of my favourite moments here have literally just been driving around, stopping wherever looks pretty, swimming somewhere i don’t know the name of and spending the entire day with absolutely no plan

maybe i’m biased because crete will always feel a little bit like home to me, but i genuinely think everyone needs to experience a greek summer at least once 🥹🇬🇷

come quad biking through Crete with me because apparently relaxing on vacation is not enough for me 😋

one minute I’m driving through the mountains, next minute I’m in some tiny village, walking through a cave, seeing monuments and then stopping at the prettiest views ever. genuinely one of the most fun things I did in Crete

I booked the Quad Safari with Bali Travel in Bali, Crete and it was around €80 for a 5 hour trip, which for everything included was sooo worth it. they picked me up right from my hotel in Rethymno, brought me to Bali, and then I drove almost 60km across Crete with stops along the way for views, monuments, a cave AND lunch, which was included too

and after all of that they dropped me right back off at my hotel 😭 like for €80??? absolutely worth it

if you’re staying in Rethymno, put this on your to do listttt 🇬🇷

there’s something about being in your 20s and realizing you can literally just… go. live somewhere new, figure it out as you go, meet new people, make a completely different little life for yourself. and if you hate it? come home lol

anyway I fear living abroad has officially made it onto the vision board 🇬🇷 this trip did absolutely nothing to help my urge to move to Greece for a year, but i’m not complaining!
