Loving the framing and details that pulled this piece all together✨Some of you may or may not know that not only do I capture weddings on my canvas through live wedding painting, but I also capture them through my camera! I’ve been a wedding photographer for two years now & I recently flew to Charleston to shoot a micro-wedding at this beautiful venue! The couple asked if I could do a venue painting to use for their guestbook so I was able to complete this watercolor in time to ship to them! They had it custom framed & it truly brought the piece to life! It was so satisfying arriving at the beach house in Charleston to see this set up😍✨ I truly love my job/s!!

It feels so good to be painting again! I’ve got 6 wedding paintings hanging in my studio from the school year that are waiting to be finished & delivered to their new home! My last year of art school kept me super busy on top of my photography business and raising a little one! Luckily this painting has already been delivered so I wanted to show y’all the process:) I’ll be knocking these other paintings out over the rest of the summer & will have some new ones to paint in the fall! I’m so excited to finally be in the wedding business full time! Thank you all for following along on this journey with me & to my brides from this year, thank you for being so patient while I finished my degree! Get ready for an overload of the results soon!

My favorite part about wedding painting is being able to merge different highlights of the day to be able to be captured in one scene! I think it is so unique to be able to paint more than what can be seen in a photo. Adjusting the angle to see the sunset, moving the tables & center pieces outside to be in the painting, and much more!! #liveweddingpainting #liveweddingpainter #weddingpainter #weddingpainting #weddingartist #weddingart #liveartist #liveweddingartist #liveweddingart taken in Monroe, Louisiana by @acefineart_

What a fantastic wedding y’all! This painting really surprised me honestly! I was so excited about painting those letters yall, but omg I was so nervous about painting those letters YALL🤣🫠I was trying to mentally prepare myself for these thinking they would take forever and somehow my first go at them turned out better and quicker than I thought! Anyway , Congrats to the beautiful couple! I can’t wait to add more details and deliver this painting to them!😇
