Custom Ring by Goodboy Jewelry!

My long time friend @aceinthehole84 reached out to me with an idea for a signet style wedding band! I am so honored to be asked to design a piece for a friend, especially one that is an example of his love for his partner!

We decided on a rectangular signet the width of the top of his finger (14mm) with an off center .25ct black diamond! He wanted it in a matte finish, so we made sure to not high polish it! It turned out beautifully!

I love to design/create jewelry as much as I love selling vintage & antique! If you have an idea for a piece of any kind, please, feel free to DM me, or email: david@goodboy.jewelry

I am always happy to help!

I had a lot of good things happen this year. Goals reached, trips taken, bonds strengthened.
By far, my favorite was getting engaged to my best friend. I cannot wait to marry you in 2026 and keep this beautiful life we have going. We can do anything together. ILY Claire❤️

3/11/10. 15 YEARS SOBER.

"If I persist, if I continue to try, if I continue to charge forward, I will succeed"

Yesterday I hit 15 years! Sitting on my garage floor in sweat drenched bunkers I thought about the Smoke Divers creed on the wall and realized how much it has to do with all aspects of my life...

I wanted to quit drinking five years before I actually did. I didn't know how, and I sure didn't know how to ask for help. I kept trying various ways alone but nothing worked. I walked into my first(sober) AA meeting on March 11th 2010 and heard what I needed to hear to keep my ass there. I finally asked for help. I kept trying til I got it and made sure it stuck.

I show these 2 coins because these have been the hardest most meaningful memberships to attain. They are invaluable to me. They have, in a way, an interconnectedness. Each will always require daily effort to be better, better than I was the day before. A better partner, friend, son, crew member, teacher, example and fireman. It's not always easy, and I don't always get it right. But I will continue to try.

I wouldn't be where I am today without getting a reset on life. A true second chance.

For that Im eternally grateful. Thank you to all my friends and family who've been a part of my journey. 🙏🏼❤️

If you need help or youre considering it, dont wait. Day one, or one day. Please ask.

"If you want to walk fast walk alone, if you want to walk far walk together"

Best dude to train with and walk this path with. 3 trips to Muskogee, 2 years and 1 failure. We got it!
This is just the beginning,
hold the standard👊🏼

Cant thank my family, friends and my crew at 13's enough for their support. Especially Claire, you're my rock! ❤️

My beautiful lady just graduated paramedic school. I couldn't be more proud of her accomplishment. Sleepless nights, never ending studying, routines outta wack...you persevered. I love you, super proud, congrats! ❤️👊🏼🎉 by @aceinthehole84

Favorite time of year for hikes! Little 10 miler with a great lunch view up top. Thanks babe for getting us out there even on a Saturday. Little tip: people disappear after like 2 miles, pick the "Hard" hikes. by @aceinthehole84

I couldn’t imagine criticizing another firefighter for working to get better.

And yet, every day, some firefighters go out of their way to tell firefighters who are just trying to get better that they shouldn’t work out in gear.

Then they follow up, saying things like they are just doing it to look cool.

I don’t know who you run with, but the guys I surround myself with do it to prepare for the job. Period.

I also can’t help but think maybe that would be the only reason the critics who are saying this would do it, to look cool. Maybe that’s what motivates them.

Here’s my advice to the critics.

Do you, bro!

I’m not trying to change your mind, and you sure as hell aren’t going to change ours.

So, all the time you spend finding fault in others, use it to improve yourself. I’m sure you have enough to work on to keep yourself busy throughout your entire career.

And if you are being criticized for preparing for the job, keep doing the right thing and surround yourself with those doing the same.

You know what’s right. Keep doing it with a spirit of humility, a full heart, and a smile on your face because we get to do this. by @aceinthehole84
