Topwater Southern Bluefin Tuna barrel.
This has been a dream come true with so much thought and planning going into this fish of a lifetime.
After 2 days of solid casting and finally getting a sub surface hit I was like ohhhh huh I'm on.
Reality quickly set in and i was actually hoping that the fish wasn't a big barrel as I was on the lighter outfit of 65lbs but 3.2 hours latter and @spearo776 on the wheel making a massive difference.
Fish weight: 132kg, 290lbs
Rod: Murasame 80
Reel: Saltiga 5000
Lure: Mikros stickbait.

One of the biggest questions we got at AFTA was do they actually work… well the boys were filming a couple of months ago for the new season coming up and they were using the @velrifya_tackle spinker one urchin bait.

AFTA might be over but we still have a bunch more videos of some really cool products. Jason and Matt from @shimano.fish talk about the new Dialuna Zoom rod.

The boys arrived down at Gippsland lakes today and already caught a stack of black bream up to 42cm, what a great place to be!
