Whenever I learn that I am not getting an interview or did not get a position I knew I would be really good at...I try to remind myself this quote from the great Steve Martin.

I always enjoy visiting bookstores. There is something magical about all the books on those shelves and what is hiding in those pages. Where do you enjoy going? by @acephoenix

Looked back at some of our adventures in 2025 - went to Disneyland land for my husband's birthday, later he got his PhD in Physics, took the dog to the beach for the first time, did a bunch of cool stuff at work, visited the Renaissance Festival in costume this time, and holidays with the family. by @acephoenix

Another Bruno dump. I can't resist this dog. He is such a joy to have and take care of. He adopted us as much as we adopted him. Bruno, our yorkie mix, is laying down on a teal pillow. taken in Houston, Texas by @acephoenix

It's started snowing last night and still going strong this morning. Staying in and working where it's safe. Hope everyone stays warm and safe.

Houston's infrastructure is built for 101°F not 28°F. So most things are shut down for safety reasons, at least based on what I have read and heard. At least it's pretty to look at today. taken in Houston, Texas by @acephoenix

2024 in a nutshell...

Started with a new job where I learned a ton about NASA history and got to meet astronauts, got another job that expanded upon my NASA knowledge, visited friends, saw fossils, and adopted a beautiful dog.

Wonder what 2025 will bring! by @acephoenix
