the golden age of zombie games has long passed 🧟‍♀️

but many would hold dead rising in its prime as the peak of the zombie game craze 🏆

4 games later the future of the franchise is uncertain, i hope to see a dead rising 5 but even if not i’ll always have a these bangers! 🔥

welcome to the wasteland! legendary id software programmer john carmacks swan song for the company he founded 🧨

rage was mad max the video game before mad max the video game 🤔

whilst not part of the id software fps trinity, it sure does hold its own amongst the best of them 😤

titanfall 2 will forever remain the holy grail of under appreciated masterpieces 🖼

delivering one of the greatest FPS campaigns of the generation but due to poor timing was ultimately overshadowed by call of duty & battlefield 🔫

thankfully respawn found great success in apex but i hope they don’t completely abandon the titanfall IP 🪦

whilst the legendary Ezio dominates most Assassins Creed protagonist tier lists, i’ve always been more drawn to Edward Kenway ⛵️

Infamous pirate known all throughout the Caribbean in what remains one of the most acclaimed entries in the AC series to this day 🏴‍☠️

we deserve a new AAA transformers game 🤖

these older activision titles are cult classics ⚙️

the amount of potential in a high quality transformers game is ridiculous 🔩

hopefully sooner rather than later 🙏

obsidian are in my eyes the undisputed kings of the rpg genre in gaming 👑

the outer worlds felt like the first time they truly got to spread their wings as a developer 🕊

& now with the backing of microsoft & xbox we’ll get to see these guys do some serious damage on a AAA scale on par with their rivals & former contractors financially 💰

i’m really digging the way mojang are using the minecraft ip to explore various different genres via spin off titles ⛏

dungeons = minecraft meets diablo 😈

legends = minecraft meets starcraft ⭐️

story mode = minecraft meets telltale 📚

sunset overdrive was one of the first gen 8 games i played and it set the bar for the entire console generation for me, truly an underrated masterpiece 🔥

spiritual successor to the cult classic jet set radio 🛼

before insomniac made spider-man, this game was the blueprint 💯

quake is pretty much responsible for the modern esports scene as we know it❗️

a true pioneer in gaming which built upon a foundation laid by doom, which was an evolution of the wolfenstien 3d formula‼️

quake in my eyes completes the id software fps holy trinity 🔱

2015’s mad max video game wasn’t a major hit upon release but has gained a pretty dedicated cult following since ☄️

& i have noticed a shift regarding how folks talk about this game, a lot of good things recently☝️

definitely something i’m gonna check out down the line 🤔

i miss this era of star wars games, when the extended universe was still cannon & we got goated characters like starkiller 🔥🔥🔥

i’d love to see dude return in a future fallen order game tbh 🤔
