From the back row, every seat has a clear view of the stage. At Wesley College, this space has to do more than host game day. It’s where the whole school comes together for assemblies, presentations and performances, so sightlines mattered just as much as capacity. The tiered rise of our retractable system lifts each row above the one in front, so whether you’re in the front row or the very top, you’re part of the moment. That’s what we mean when we say The Best Seat in the House. Wherever you sit, it should feel like a good one. Builder: Crothers Construction Architect: TRCB Architects Client: Wesley College Perth by @aceseating
Introducing the new Wesley College sports centre in Perth. This new four-court, multi-sport facility needed seating as flexible as the space itself, and that’s exactly what we set out to deliver. At its heart is a 734-seat travelling retractable seating system with Centura CT300 seats, ready to roll into position for game day and tuck neatly away when the courts are needed. Featuring theatre-style side drapes, a carpeted deck and powder-coated nosing and risers to give it a polished, finished look. Alongside it — 1,066 Bluecube Stax loose seats on chrome-plated sled-base frames bring even more flexibility. They stack onto storage dollies, so the room can switch from assembly to presentation night to packed grandstand with ease. Every seat is finished in the school’s dark green, so the whole facility feels unmistakably Wesley’s. Close to 1,800 seats in total, all built around how this school uses its space. Builder: Crothers Construction Architect: TRCB Architects Client: Wesley College Perth by @aceseating
One of the things that excites us most about our systems is that no two are the same. Every system is designed around how your venue actually works. Want certain rows left open for wheelchair access, camera positions or a team bench? We can build that in. Need it in your club or school colours? Done. Looking for padded seats and armrests for longer events, or scribe tables and charging points for officials and media? We can make that happen too. From walkway specifications to scoring platforms, every detail is shaped around your space, with even more options on the way. The result is a seating system built entirely to your specifications, for your venue, your events and the people who fill it. You'll hear us say The Best Seat in the House, and we mean it. The same passion behind every project, every time. [Pictured: CREST Arena, CREST Education Pty Ltd. 2x custom retractable seating systems. 2,084 Centura CT302 padded seats in Galaxy Blue and Beige to match School Colours, and premium maple flooring engineered to NBL standards] by @aceseating
Blue skies, warm afternoons. It must be getting close to cricket season. Earlier this year, the $189 million WACA Ground Improvement Project was completed, and we were proud to play our part. Ahead of the first summer in the revitalised ground, here are a few photos of our seating in place at one of Australia’s most iconic grounds, with more than 130 years of cricket behind it and plenty of summers still to come. An incredible project overall 👏 Builder: @adco_constructions Project partners: WA Cricket, Cricket Australia, City of Perth With support from: Lotterywest by @aceseating
Product Feature — Centura CT300 / Rear Mounted Cup Holder When we were brainstorming the best way to show off the strength and durability of our Centura Rear Mounted Cup Holder, someone threw out the idea of simply, standing on it. However, there was just one problem. It’s cleverly designed to slowly fold back the other way under extreme force, so it never snaps and patrons stay safe. Don't get us wrong, it would have made a great video. But when it comes to safety, there's no joking around (especially for content). Slim by design, so it doesn’t crowd the row. Tough enough to handle whatever a big crowd throws at it. And set at an ergonomic height, so drinks sit right where patrons need them, whether they’re settling in for a match, a concert or a show. It’s the kind of detail most people never think about, until it’s done right. by @aceseating
We’re incredibly proud to have played our part in the redevelopment of Mars Stadium in Ballarat. Working alongside Development Victoria, the City of Ballarat and the wider project team, we supplied seating for the stadium’s new grandstands. The upgrade doubles its permanent capacity from 5,000 to 10,000. Projects like this are only possible through strong collaboration. With around 700 jobs supported and more than 30 regional suppliers and subcontractors involved, this was a genuine team effort, and we’re grateful to have worked with such a committed group of people. The seating bowl takes its forms from Mount Buninyong and Mount Warrenheip, artwork by Wadawurrung Elder Dr Deanne Gilson is woven through the precinct, as well as a new lift beneath the grandstands for improved access. We can’t wait to see the crowds this venue welcomes for years to come. Client: City of Ballarat Key Stakeholder: Development Victoria Builder: Kane Constructions & Nicholson Construction Architect: Cox Architecture Seat Supplier: Bluecube Seating by @aceseating
To round out our look at Pacific Lutheran Secondary College in QLD, here's the space with the seating fully set up. Once deployed, the retractable system transforms the open floor into a tiered auditorium, ready for assemblies, performances and presentations. Every seat is positioned for clear sightlines to the floor, giving students, staff and visiting families a comfortable view without the need for a separate, dedicated venue. When the event is over, the system retracts and the floor is returned to everyday use. One space, set up for whatever the day calls for. Client: Action Venue Systems Seating supplier: Bluecube Seating by @aceseating
Earlier in the week we brought you the first images of Pacific Lutheran Secondary College in QLD and we wanted to show you the other side of it. Fully retracted, the multi-purpose space returns to a full, open floor for sport and general use, but still ready to go when the time comes. This flexibility is central to the value of a retractable system in a school setting — a single space that serves multiple functions, without compromising audience comfort. Client: Action Venue Systems Seating supplier: Bluecube Seating by @aceseating
Pacific Lutheran Secondary College, QLD 465 Bluecube Centura CT302 padded seats, installed just earlier this year. The CT302 is a premium option of the Centura range. The padded seat and backrest add a layer of comfort that makes a difference over a long assembly, a full-length performance, an afternoon of presentations or a sports day — keeping an audience settled throughout. Carrying the same durable Centura frame underneath, on a retractable system that maximises the useable space when required. Client: @actionvenuesystems Seating supplier: BluecubeSeating #aceseating #bluecube #centura #paddedseating #venueseating #stadiumseating #schooldesign by @aceseating
It's that time of year again. Another huge day at the MCG tomorrow. Another 100,000+ through the gates in a matter of weeks. Every seat filled, every seat doing its job. These are the days you don't notice the seating, and nor should you. This is one just to enjoy 🏆 #aceseating #grandfinal #MCG #venueseating #stadiumseating by @aceseating
Product Highlight — Centura CT350 Meet the mesh member of our Centura range. The CT350 carries all the strength the Centura is known for, reengineered for warmer climates. Its breathable mesh seat and backrest keep air moving, so patrons stay cool, dry and comfortable on even the hottest event days. Built to perform and tested to prove it: BS EN 12727 Level 4, AS1530.3 BCA compliant, and Xenon Arc tested to BS EN ISO 4892-1 & 2 for lasting UV resistance. With additional features available such as cup holders, wireless charging, tablet arms, seat numbering and custom logos — we are bringing the same premium offering, to a whole new level. by @aceseating
Centura CT300-46 in Neutral Grey, recently installed at North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Tasmania. You'll often see us at the heart of sporting venues, education and multi-use spaces — but a key part of Ace Seating is also the work we do across essential services and commercial buildings. We don't advertise it often. But it's some of the most important work we do. The brief here was focused around a tight configuration — enough seating without narrowing the hallway for beds and staff. by @aceseating
