Forum of Passion 179: The man with the plan @gregben of @notdeadyettoronto, Town of Hardcore, and S.H.I.T. Greg has been Toronto’s captain for almost 2 decades now and continues to bring great shows to the area. A great discussion about the pro vs. DIY divide is in here. Forum of Passion 178: @patrickflynnx of @haveheartusa, @fiddleheadusa, and @howmuchartusa. Where to even begin with this one? To be honest, I could have talked to Pat for an additional 3 hours easy and I’m not sure if we would have scratched the surface of everything that could be talked about with him. Pat is a one of a kind person and pillar of the genre. I consider him an inspiration as a human and have never left a conversation with him not feeling better, stronger, and happier about life. Please, I implore you, if you listen to one episode of forum and one episode only, make it this one. I could go into all the details of what’s inside here, but no better words could be spoken than from the man himself. Listen in my bio. by @acexedge

The man @sonicyouthcrew_ hit me up sometime this year asking if Break Away would get back together for an Edge Day show. We hadn’t played since our last gig in early 2019 and I personally didn’t have much intention of ever playing again. What really made me want to do it was seeing what all his generation was currently doing with Richmond Hardcore and Richmond Straight Edge. That class missed Break Away while we were around and I really respect the spirit of what they are doing in regards to carrying the torch; it made sense to run it back for the kids making it happen right now. Door tickets only at this one, see y’all on 10/17. by @acexedge

Forum of Passion 177: @tatestclair_ of @starttodayhc and @thedifference.sxe. Tate is the youngest mainline guest we have had on Forum in all 7 years of the podcast running. He deserves every bit of the shine as he has brought his bands and his unit to the spotlight on sheer force of will and a genuine love for hardcore. He’s next up and up right now. Forum of Passion 175: Emmett Morris of @wildsidehc, @bestwisheshc, and a whole lot more. I had a great time learning about Emmett’s exploration not just through hardcore music, but all music. Now his resume is eclectic as can be, but the emphasis is still on rocking. Check his story in my bio. by @acexedge
