Games were popular in the Viking era as was story telling , music , song and dance. Many hours were spent hunting and gathering of food followed by preparing it over an open fire. One of the photos shows a viking woman making a bracelet by wire weaving. What food is not from the norse viking era? It’s on the table??? by @acgurholt

Thinking of my mama today as I do everyday. I feel a sense of peace believing she is with family and loved ones departed this earth, in a heavenly place. She loved birds and would feed them everyday even when visiting us in Calgary. I imagine heaven to be full of song birds which she would so enjoy. There’s a little ditty she used to sing when cleaning the house, especially when vacuuming and it goes like this.
“Birdie, birdie in the sky dropped some white wash in my eye, but I’m a big girl. I don’t cry. I’m just glad that cows don’t fly.” She was so positive and when you got to know her, pretty funny. ❤️❤️❤️ by @acgurholt
