Open enrollment is right around the corner! 💙

As you review benefits for the year ahead, consider adding a benefit that supports your employees both at work and at home.

A Chance to Change’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential, professional support for employees and members of their household. From stress, anxiety and burnout to family challenges, grief, substance use and more, an EAP gives your team somewhere to turn when life gets difficult.

This November, make mental health support part of your benefits conversation.

📩 Contact us to learn more about bringing an EAP to your workplace through the link in our bio.

Our staff is wearing purple today for Purple Thursday 💜

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we stand with survivors and help raise awareness of an issue that deeply impacts our Oklahoma communities. With nearly half of Oklahoma women and more than 40% of Oklahoma men experiencing domestic violence in their lifetime, the need for support and awareness is clear.

Together, we wear purple. Together, we stand with survivors. 💜

Please join us in welcoming Hunter Holder as the new CEO of A Chance to Change!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Hunter brings more than a decade of experience in the mental health and substance use field, most recently serving as Executive Director of Logan Community Services in Guthrie.

"I feel both excited and honored to be chosen as the new CEO of A Chance to Change. A Chance to Change has such a strong history and legacy in this space, and I am looking forward to working with the entire team to continue to grow the agency and provide high-quality care to individuals and families."

Important changes are coming to SoonerCare (Medicaid) because of a new federal law.

Starting January 1, some SoonerCare members must meet new work requirements to keep their coverage. 📅

If the Oklahoma Health Care Authority cannot verify that you meet the requirement or qualify for an exception, they may ask you for more information. It is important to keep your information up to date and watch closely for notices.

This week, we gathered with staff, friends, and Board members to celebrate our CEO, Gina Stafford, as she begins her retirement.

Gina has been an incredible leader, mentor, and advocate for A Chance to Change. Throughout her time with our agency, she has poured her heart into our work, championed our values, and made a meaningful impact on our team and those we serve.

True to who she is, Gina asked that instead of gifts, guests make a donation to our food pantry. Even as she begins this new chapter, she's finding ways to give back and support our clients.

We are grateful for Gina's leadership and dedication. While we'll miss seeing her every day, we're excited for her and all that retirement has in store.

Thank you, Gina, for everything you've done for A Chance to Change. 💙 by @achance_tochange

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and these conversations start early. 💙

This week, we had the privilege of providing a Suicide Awareness and Prevention presentation to students at Mustang Middle School. By creating safe spaces to talk openly about mental health, we help break stigma, encourage connection, and remind young people that they are never alone.

It's important for our kiddos to know that there are safe adults they can turn to, resources available to support them, and hope in difficult moments. Prevention starts with education, awareness, and conversation.

If your school is interested in bringing this presentation to students, we'd love to connect. Reach out to info@achancetochange.org to learn more.💙
