പാലായിൽ നിന്നും പതിനേഴ് കിലോമീറ്റർ മല കേറി ചെല്ലുന്നത് അങ്ങനൊരു കവലയിലോട്ടാണ്.

ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയ്ക്ക് അതിര് പങ്കിട്ടു കിടക്കുന്നൊരിടം.

ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ ആദ്യ കാലങ്ങളിൽ,

ലോകമഹായുദ്ധകാലങ്ങളിലുമൊക്കെ,
പാലായിൽ നിന്നും പരിസരങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുമൊക്ക മല കേറി വന്നവരും മലയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുമായ കർഷകരുടെ കഥ.

മണ്ണിനോടും മൃഗങ്ങളോടും ഒരേ പോലെ മല്ലിട്ട് പള്ളിയും സ്കൂളുമൊക്ക തുടങ്ങി കാട് നാടാക്കിയ കഥ. .

വെട്ടി തെളിച്ച കാട്ടിൽ റബ്ബറും ഇഞ്ചിയും കുരുമൊളകും കാപ്പിയുമൊക്കെ നട്ട് ചുറ്റുവാരം മല മൂടിയ നാട്ടിൽ വിശപ്പിനെ വെല്ലുവിളിച്ചവരുടെ കഥ. .

ആ കഥകളുടെ ഈറ്റില്ലമായ കവലകളാണിതൊക്കെ. .

അങ്ങനെ മഴ മൂടി നിൽക്കുന്നൊരു മധ്യാഹ്നത്തിന്റെ പകുതിയിൽ,
മരബെഞ്ചിൽ സ്റ്റീൽ പിഞ്ഞാണത്തിൽ വിളമ്പിയ കൊഴച്ച കപ്പുഴുക്കിൽ എറച്ചിച്ചാർ ഒഴിച്ചു കഴിക്കുമ്പോൾ ,
നാവൂറി വന്ന എരിവിലേക്ക് ചൂട് കട്ടൻ കാപ്പി ഊതി ഇറക്കി അങ്ങനെ ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കുകയാണ് മനസ്സ്.

Posting a video might look like “just a few seconds” to you, but there’s so much that happens behind those few seconds. From coming up with an idea, planning, shooting multiple takes, finding the right angle, editing, choosing the music, adding captions, fixing the tiniest details, writing the caption, and finally posting it , everything is done from scratch.
And sometimes, after all that effort, the video may not even reach the audience you expected. 😅
