POSTS STORIES REELS

We’re wrapping up National Physical Therapy Month by celebrating our wonderful dean, faculty, and staff! 💚

Thank you for the knowledge you share, the encouragement you offer, and the care you put into helping our students succeed. We appreciate all you do for ACHE PT! by @ache_pt

PT Day of Service 2026 was full of energy and fun! 🏃✨️

Last Friday, our DPT students and faculty welcomed nearly 300 students from Barling Elementary and Cook Elementary for an afternoon filled with activities focused on movement and physical activity. It was a fun opportunity to connect with our community and introduce young learners to physical therapy! by @ache_pt

A shared goal and plenty of determination! 💪👏 Our students worked together to take on today’s 50-kilometer rowing event for the 2026 Gamecock Challenge!

The Gamecock Challenge is a national event that combines fundraising, service, and physical activity in the spirit of transforming society through movement. @gamecockchallenge 👏 by @ache_pt

Solving clues and building clinical skills!🌟 Earlier this semester, our first-year students tackled an escape room-style challenge in the simulation lab. They worked together to interpret vital signs and solve clinical puzzles, putting their knowledge and teamwork into practice. 👏 by @ache_pt

Our second-year ACHE OT and PT students are helping older adults in our community build strength, improve balance, and reduce their risk of falls through our Fall Prevention Program. 👏

Under faculty supervision, our students lead balance and strengthening exercises, share practical tips for fall prevention and home safety, and assess participants’ balance before and after the program to track progress toward individual goals.

Experiences like this help our students become skilled, compassionate clinicians by applying what they’ve learned and tailoring care to each person’s needs.

The Fall Prevention Program runs from October 1-November 5, 2026. If you know someone who could benefit from this program, please email Krista.Cox@achehealth.edu! (Registration is open until the last two weeks of the program.) by @ache_pt

In celebration of National Physical Therapy Month, we want to highlight what sets ACHE PT apart! 🌟

Our beautiful campus, state-of-the-art facilities, and dedicated faculty create a supportive environment for students to learn and grow.

Students have the opportunity to engage with community members early in their training through our on-site IPE clinic. They also work with @shift.ar patients, where they design exercise programs and interventions for people with Parkinson's disease and paralysis. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their learning while serving others.

We take pride in preparing future physical therapists with the knowledge, experience, and compassion to support patients at every stage of recovery.

Happy National Physical Therapy Month! 💚
