🎀 Life's Diary: A quick reminder for my fellow ladies approaching 40!

It’s been exactly 1 week since my surgery to remove a breast tumor.

Earlier this year, I felt a lump in my right breast. It grew over time and started hurting, so I got it checked. Turns out it was a Breast Phyllodes Tumor , a benign but fast-growing type that needed to be surgically removed within a month.

As you know about my sad news from home and i had to postpone the surgery appointment to 2 Jul 2026

Back to Uni and trained as an anesthetist, I knew the risks of general anesthesia, so I well prepped myself (strict fasting, resting, and practicing box breathing to stay calm!). The 45-minute surgery went smoothly, and I even can move myself onto the wheel bed post-op, making the nurses cheer at how strong I was! 💪✨

A massive thank you to my bestie, Som, for looking after me all night, and to my family, colleagues, and friends for the overwhelming flood of love and messages. You all are the best treatment to me. ❤️

💡 My biggest takeaway for all women:

Please get regular mammograms and pelvic/abdominal ultrasounds. Why? Because breast nodules and uterine fibroids are closely linked as both are driven by female sex hormones. Early detection makes treatment so much easier. Don't forget your self-exams at home too!

Take care of your health, everyone! 🥰🌱
