It’s almost few weeks now since we lost you and today stumbled upon this very photo of us in 1997. I think it was at one of those jamm sesh/house party at oden/om’s basement studio.

I remember vividly the basement jamm sesh was more to amongst us, with oden and rarely om. But at times we made it into an impromptu experimental sesh with your guitar and multiple pass (back then I dunno why we call them effect pedals as pass, perhaps because the guitar sound goes “pass” them colorfull pedals haha!!)

And I think this was one of those only decent photos were taken of us as a band, officially nerd. Used to be The Special Nerds, then The Nerd, and this.. Nerd. It was on the staircase leading down to the basement studio. Yerp, somewhere in Kampung Tunku (a.k.a Perumahan Baru) there’s a house with a basement. Yes our 90’s kids dream to jamm in a basement studio came true haha!!

Looking back, we never did realize our dream to rerecord nerd “Mathematic Colors” Ep. Maybe we were just busied with lives, with families, loved ones and didn’t made the time nor the effort. Or maybe we thought we were immortals that will last the test of time and live forever haha!!

Just like honking at you in front of your house, thinking that one of these days gonna call you up for coffee or something. Or just chatting via our whatsapp group, that sometimes I din even bothered to reply. Thinking maybe later, maybe next time I’mma gonna call tgese guys up and go lepak somewhere.

Or maybe we just need to really make the effort to call, meet up and really do it. Else it will may be another funeral that we all gonna meet up.

Hidup ni keras, lagi keras kalau kau kena menapak atas tar sejauh saujana mana memandang hahahaa!!
Tedah, bertabahlah sahabat2 yg bekerja di SGH, pada pesakit dan keluarga yg terpaksa ngadap benda tok hari hari. Harap-harap cepatla siap Hospital Besar Petra Jaya, atleast dpt kita bebagik. Sik cukup SGH tok dah rami gilak urg sakit kinek huhu:( by @achmedyouseff
