@voidfest 2026 Recap🤯

I had the honor of setting up my own system at the Tentstage as well as tuning the Mainstage.

Was really interesting to hear various new genres at incredible volumes.

Never seen my system that dirty before! Probs to all the Voidians for such an unforgettable weekend 🫶 taken in Void Fest by @achustik_sound

Fest der elektronischen Musik 2026 Recap

I had the honor of installing my own system at the Hangar-Stage and the @bass_babylon_soundsystem at the Versteck-Stage.

Hangar:
2 MEH Tops
2 W-Bin Kicks
4 TH218 Subs

I made the choice of implementing a Cardioid Sub Array combined with a Spaced Sub Array to reduce unwanted reflections with mainly the back wall and the side walls to improve the impulse response and to get an even coverage in this quite challenging space.
With the DJ Booth being in the main area of rear cancellation it made it way easier to work with turntables as well.

Slide 2 shows all Subs being active, in Slide 3 the rear (cardioid) Sub is muted.

After some tuning the overall result was quite pleasing, featuring a loud, clear, brilliant, heavy and relatively tight soundstage.

Big thanks to the DJs and Live Acts for bringing light into the systems <3 by @achustik_sound

PATENT SPRING EDITION 2026!

How it all began...
My passion for audio and the technology behind it was sparked during the pandemic, mainly trough private, underground raves I threw with friends.
Bach then we had an old HK-Audio PA we hacked together.

Eventually, in mid-2023, I decided to try to optimize my existing setup.
I basically set up my PA in my room on the third floor, bought a dsp and measuring equipment and took a deep dive into the technical side of things... by @achustik_sound
