Last week’s hype check 📍 @drinkalpaca .🤎 Come, let’s explore Bangalore together! ✨ #bangalorecafeculture #bangalorehype #indiranagarcafes #thingstodoinbengaluru #chocolateloversbangalore by @achuuth
Some celebrations feel a little like coming home. ❤️ This Durga Puja, we got to celebrate with our old friends from Newbies, hosting them for a special Bhoj inspired by the flavours of Assam and Bengal. A table filled with familiar flavours, food with stories behind it, and the kind of conversations that remind us why we love bringing people together. A little bit of culture, a lot of warmth, and a lovely reminder that festivals are as much about the people we share them with as they are about the food. Thank you, Newbies, for sharing this afternoon with us. And to everyone who made it special, we’re glad we got to do this together. ❤️ Some memories are worth sharing, even a little late. . . . #durgapuja #foodandcommunity #assamesecuisine #bengalicuisine #koramangala by @achuuth

Penned a small note for @bangalorenewbies as the evening ended. All of this feels so surreal. Everyone keeps asking me, “how do you monetise this” and “how do you spend all your free time here”, these are easier questions to answer than tell “Why is it newbies if you’ve been here for 3 years”. The answer to how we monetise Newbies is we don’t, it’s entirely not for profit and we will be so since the goal is to bring people together in a non stressful, low pressure manner so we can chill and make human experiences. We shouldn’t have to feel guilty for having or like we should be doing more or be more social or rich. Everyone belongs here and that’s what matters. That being said, it’s not easy to be a newbie, you really need to understand the quirks and I’m blessed to have so many people who love the community so much and stand by with us. Here’s to year 3 and more. P.S Posted the post that created the community at the very end. Can’t tag everyone because limits :( #bangalore #community #anniversary #fypppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp #bangalorenewbies by @achuuth
NEWBIES TURNED 3 TODAY! 🥹❤️ What started as a small idea has somehow grown into a community of people who show up, talk to strangers, try new things together and, sometimes, make memories that refuse to be forgotten. 3 years. 500+ events. Countless meet-ups, conversations, friendships, firsts, adventures and stories. ✨ Over the years, Newbies has taken us to places we probably wouldn’t have discovered otherwise, introduced us to people we never would’ve met, and pushed many of us to step a little outside our comfort zones. But more than the events, it’s the people who make Newbies what it is. In a world where it can be surprisingly hard to make friends, find third spaces or simply have easy, platonic connections, there’s something special about having a place where you can walk in without knowing anyone and still feel like you belong. Looking back at these three years, there’s so much to be grateful for — and so many memories worth bringing back. 🥹 Here’s to 3 years of Newbies, and to making Bangalore a little less lonely, one meetup at a time. ❤️ POST - 2 💜🌟🥹 #bangalorediaries #nammabengaluru #communityevent #bengaluruevents #meetnewpeople Our first big brand collab with Gilly’s! 🌟 Thanks to @its_poo_h ! 🫶🏻 August 2025 @its_poo_h 's first meet-up with Newbies! 🫶🏻🥳 When some Newbies took part in the first 5k run event.... followed by the food walk! 🥹🌟✨ Karaoke evening at Shakesbierre! 🎤🗣️ May 2025 Throwback to @rak_s.h 's first meet-up with Newbies! 🥹♥️ May 2025 Many Newbies' first 5k run ever!!! 🤩🥹 @rak_s.h @eshuu_kumar @shwetha.s15 @naga_nachiappan July 2025 Open Mic 2026 was such a hit!! 🤩🌟✨ Socials, Indiranagar Halloween 2025! 🎭🎃🫶🏻 Diwali 2025! 🎆🎇 Sunday morning meetups! 🤩 2026 Tiny sushiii!
