My friend and I wanna open up a restaurant that’s called Café Attitude and it’s a spinoff of café gratitude in Los Angeles which is a vegetarian vegan very healthy woo Woo restaurant that makes you say things like
“I am grateful” before ordering your fucking farro salad or “I am powerful”while you’re ordering your fucking brussels sprouts.

So cafe attitude would be run, staffed and managed by menopausal women in their 50s and late 40s and so every item on the menu would be like “I am resentful” or “I am having night sweats” or “I am not finished talking.” And everything on the menu would be comfort food so like mac & cheese, fried chicken, shrimp and grits popcorn and M&Ms you know what I mean like everything that you eat when life is life-ing too hard.

So here is my first test on the menu: “I am a Out of Fucks” Fried Chicken. What would you want to eat at this fine establishment?

My dad Ugo was struck and killed by a car a year ago today. Not even 2 miles from home. I was on the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii at sunset when it happened. It was gloomy and atmospheric and gorgeous and endless. It felt like I was in heaven. It was so beautiful it made me cry.

My dad hated that I traveled and went to do “this and that.” He always worried that danger would befall me.

Anyway - where ever he is I hope some rest and fish and chips is involved. And American westerns on repeat.
